Sigh. I hate being a newbie, sounding dumb.....but after hanging out here for a week or two there are some questions I still haven't found the answer to. So I hope you'll oblige me....besides, it's an opportunity for us to chat and converse with some sexy fun couples/people here that we just might be meeting on our trip! So here goes. I've read that full nudity isn't allowed at the resort, EXCEPT at certain times, during certain games being played at the sexy pool. So how is that okay? We can be nude when hotel staff requests it, but not at our own discretion? Hmmm. Not sure how I feel about that. And why is such a big deal made out of "topless optional" at this resort? We've been to two other AI resorts in Mexico, neither of which were even adults only! and most of the women were topless around the pool. :::scratching head::: 2nd question - about what percentage of the resort population would you say goes into town to the clubs at night? We've been told that it pretty much turns into a ghost town at night, but their trip was almost 2 years ago, and I don't know if that's still the case or not. We are only planning on doing the club run once, probably the night they go to Coco Bongos. We're wondering if there will be anyone to have fun with at the resort nightclub after the bus leaves for town! 3rd question - we have reserved a Deluxe, king bed, nonsmoking room, and would love it if anyone was so pleased with their room that they could recommend a room number to ask for. We may be willing to pay for an upgrade once we get there, if available. So if you just LOVED your room, please give the room number and description. Would prefer a room on the quiet pool side, though....so that when I scream in ecstasy, everyone will hear me. LOL 4th - is white/silver, 100% agave tequila available at all the bars on resort premises? 5th - has anyone here ever been, or ever seen anyone be kicked out of the resort for sexually misbehaving? Were they given a warning first? We are wondering if what ACTUALLY happens at the resort differs from the public image that the resort puts out there. Oral sexual kisses, licks here and there, playful nibbles, a little feelski up the skirt...you know the kind of stuff I mean....are the girls playful with each other, even? I do make great margaritas....maybe if I shared the recipe, I'd have some friends willing to talka me! LOL 2 oz white/silver tequila (I use Hornitos Plata) 1 oz Patron Citronge 1 oz fresh lime juice 1 oz simple syrup Put everything in a shaker with ice and shake for ...umm...(from Umbridge!) 10 seconds or so? and then pour and enjoy! I usually make double recipe for the both of us.
It is a catch 22, during the games when their taking the bathing suits you can have 40 naked people in the pool but yeah, they frown on it anywhere else. I go during December and we have a group of people that all stay at patio's with about half probably going to the clubs, I think it just boils down to repeaters mainly stay in house and newbies check out the clubs, just an observation. I've always get a room above patios, it's easier to stumble to and from the bar but that's just a preference, alot of people don't like the noise going on till the middle of the night. Tequila is just regular brand but you can bring a bottle and they'll put it behind the bar or you can keep it in your room, theirs a store across the street. Never seen anyone but I've heard a couple of stories, mainly about people drunk and being inappropriate than anything else. Hope that helps some, now where's my margarita!! :aetsch004:
I said it in another thread...ask for a double headed shower. They had Cien Anos (100 years) gold tequila as their top of the line. I asked for it and they said it was for premier members only but they would give it to me this time. After they saw I was a tipper, they had it ready for me before I asked for the rest of the week. BTW - Hornitos (plato or reposado) is my favorite tequila as well. funny side note. I have Marlene convinced that the name comes from an old Aztec aphrodesiac that they put in it to make you horny. The mind is a funny thing...I always tell her it's working on me.

hi wolfnblu, there was one time when i was there in july/aug 2006 when several people were kicked out of the resort for what i was told as having sex in the pool....now i did not see any of this going on myself,but it was getting a little crazy at the sexy pool that day....i have not heard of any other cases of people being kicked out in my 3x's there....charlene
we just got back a few weeks ago. first time. i loved our room. it was one with the jaczzi terrace...room 1134. on the quiet pool with a perfect view of the ocen and the pool
K taking a stab at the questions. Nakeness during games......is okay and totally voluntary and for the most part they always have trouble getting people to try naked tequilla volleyball. I will be there once again. Topless is no big deal and even itty bitty see thru thongs are welcome. Just think it is newbies wondering there. You can be topless at all the pools and beach area which is public The place does not turn into a ghost town at night and lately padio's is where people party at night. Nice shoes is good some night and not so great on others. All depends on the crowds. I'n not sure about the tequilla but walmart is not that far and the bartenders will keep it behind the bar you you as well. I think we have all had moments of sexually mis-behaving and well i guess it all depends on where and if you get caught. We have been kicked out of the ocean for naked skinny dipping. Security will get on you fast. Last trip was the only time we ever changed rooms and that was because we had no TV cause the plug was broken off somehow. Other than that we have liked all our rooms. Can't have a room without channel 12. We usually like our rooms just off padios.........as they are so central and great to run back to when partying there. But on the down side they may be noisier. We stay up late so not that bad for us. Hope that helps.....see you both there.
