Have you traveled here with a family member?

We will be making our second trip to Temptations In Feb 2011 and my sister and her husband expressed interest in going. Has anyone traveled here with a sibling or other family member? I don't want to feel like I have to hold back because my sister is there, though they would have a great time.

 

Would not go with family(other than wife) but thats just me.

 

Going with sister and brother in law sounds great. And i'm sure they are alot of fun but would your sister like to see you hanging from the chin up bars as Chinos or one of the girls pulls your short down during one of the games..:cool014:...Something to think about! I've shown my sisters my pics from past trips to Tempatations..They will never step foot on this resort...LOL...They are scared..

 

Annette has five sisters and three of them were with her on a birthday trip a couple of years ago. Two of them did not have a good time, and the third may come back with us in the future.

Know your family member and their spouse very well if you don't want to compromise your vaca.

 

Knowing how much we need a vacation and knowing we can let loose at Temptation, I ,myself, wouldn't want to bring a family member because you may never be able to live things down. I'm not talking about anything dreadful, of course!!!!

 

I just don`t think I would be able to let loose just think abotu the motto.....
No body knows you and nobody gives a #$%#. It just wouldn`t be the same with family.... me and my wife did alot of the activites and got very involved and I can tell you for sure I can think of atleast 5 things right off the top of my head I wouldnt have done if family was around.

 

We went with my sis in law and her boyfriend. We didn't hold back at all but that is just who we are. We don't do anything in cancun that we wouldn't do at home. We are who we are and if you don't like us oh well. My sister thinks it's funny when we all go out because we just don't care. So I guess what I'm saying is it really depends on what kind of relationship you have with your family, how much you care what others think, and whether or not your family knows when something is about to happen and looks away. lol

 

It's not that I care what people think but I wouldn`t tell secrets about dirty sex to my family or get naked in the same pool as family members just for example there is fun and then there is just weird and ackward.

 

My first trip I ran into my cousins during lingerie night, it made the family christmas party a bit awkward.:huh:

 

When we went the last time the 2 other couples with us had a sister, brother. THey were completely fine with it though her husband did say that this time he is happy that her brother is not going so could feel a bit more free not worrying about offending her brother. They are all very good friends so it was a blast but there will always be some hold back, you will have a great time, I wouldn't worry.
