So yes I know I'm obsessed with this contest and spendWAY too much time watching it but seriously everyday I will be ahead of "the other girl"" {cough} VANESSA {cough} and then she get like 15 votes in 5 minutes!!! I just don't get how they can not see that she is cheating!!! Wow I really need Wenesday to come!!! The other girl (probably) isn't cheating. I'm pretty sure it works like this Viola: The whole competition is all about marketing and getting people to subscribe to their email list. TTR can then then send email subscribers their promotions, special offers, whatever. But basically the overall aim is to make sales that they may not have made otherwise via their email list, and getting people to sign up for their email list is what the whole competition is about from their point of view. Every few months a popular contestant comes along such as yourself, the past has shown that cancuncare can generate a lot of votes. When there's no cancuncare girl involved individuals votes rarely exceed 100. What I think happens (but obviously have no proof) is that the webmaster in charge of the vote artificially boosts the 'rival' every so often to make the vote close to even, thus making the popular girl (you in this case) work harder to bring in even more votes - posting to more sites, adding more links, keeping the topic fresh, telling more people. It all boils down to more views, more email subscriptions, more sales. Let's not for one minute think that the competition is just for fun. But I do hope you win it
that makes sense steve, good marketing ploy by them if that is the case.....as I just had a few guys from work vote haha...so it worked..

They do it everyday pretty much around the same time so it makes sense if the webmaster is the one controlling, which sucks due to I spend WAY too much time looking at the site myself and trying to get people to vote. (I think everyone around me is avoiding me because that is all I talk about these days!!) Well I hope my hard work pays out and I win. I really could not have done it with out cancuncare! SO thank you!!!
