my thoughts about intimidation were not so much about your physique... as your a very.. beautiful couple... that can intimidate people... So show what you have... shake what your momma gave ya... LOL. Have fun and I really hope to meet you guys some day. And if anyone judges you because of your physique.. then, that really would be their loss now wouldn't it...
YUP! If you're not happy the way you are, then change it!!! If you're happy, then show it off and have a great time!!! People want to see other people having fun, want to be a part of the fun! The group of friends I am usually with, we always seem to be the center of the party, we suck in all the people who want to have fun into the group, and send the judgemental boring farts up to their rooms!!! the only requirement is the willingness to have fun. Young, old, big small, doesnt matter to anyone in our group..... Seems as though this is the MO of Temptations, and the reason my wife and I will be headed there soon!!
I know, my bad, I was referring to TFlexxin's comment about his physique and what ppl may assume when they first see his muscles...but then down here in South Florida that's a very common look or a look that many guys are striving toward..my BF used to have the same physique, 6'1 and 230 lbs of muscle...now he's much leaner at 190, not "big" anymore, but i love how he looks either way... And as far as being happy the way you are, that's great, a lot of ppl are....I'm not one of them though.
Judging ANYONE prior to finding out a little about them would make my life soooooo lame. Imagine all the great people, the great stories, lifestyles, experiences a person would miss out on living their life in a little vacuum like that.... Just recently while in Vegas, I met about a dozen different people from different walks of life, just because I am talkative and so were they. A Lawyer and his wife from San Diego, a rancher from Montana, a professional wakeboarder, a land development company owner, a couple in their 60's who own a B&B somewhere in the Northeast (hilarious accent) who were the funnest people I talked to with great stories, a newlywed 21y/o couple... None of them I would describe as "beautiful", but I had a great time talking to ALL of them and if I saw them ever again, I would immediately recognize them and remember what we talked about. Could'nt even remember any of the big-titted girls from the pool or the clubs though.....the so-called beautiful people...... Damn, so beauty IS in the eye of the beholder.......
And you said that you're doing something about it, so KUDOS to you! Remember, as your BF will probably tell you, you NEVER get to where you want. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Be confident that you look good, but want to look different. No matter how good you look, someone else ALWAYS looks better, so you gotta be happy with whatcha got!! From your profile pic, I don't think either of you have anything to worry about, I think I am officially declaring Mexico a JUDGEMENT FREE zone!!!!!
LOL he actually HAS told me that, he referred to himself in the past (before I knew him) as having "gym dysmorphia" Thanks, and yeah I decided to stop complaining and do something about it once and for all. I'm far from where I want to be, but I take it 1 lb at a time...it's so much harder to lose and tone when you're over 35 compared to when I was 21! *eyeroll*
