Rob, Yes we had a great time at Temptations Cabos and the surrounding area. I too, was on the fence earlier this year regarding going back to Cancun or going to Cabos. And as I have enjoyed reading your reports & updates from time to time, I will trying to give you an objective break down on the pros & cons in the next few days to try to help. (Its getting a lil late right now).

The hot tub was one of my favorite places to party at night and we danced almost every night when we were there in march of last year. My hair stayed straighter......that was a bonus. The hot tub didn't open until 5:00 pm but almost everyone went up there when it did. We also loved the live band during the day and playing blind volleyball and a few other games as well. They played alot of music that you would all love too. I am sure you will enjoy being there as well.

i think your counts are fairly accurate

yeah once we get closer and a more firm count on numbers will certainly get some stuff planned (like a deep sea fishing trip, a booze cruise, a charter bus excursion to the bars one night, and much much more)

oh yeah water volleyball season opener this weekend :)

    absolutely

and im heating up the pool as it is a little bit chilly in there and it might cause some to get nippleitis if i dont warm it up a touch

........................and if someone were to catch a severe case of nippleitis

    - i can see where someone may end up getting an eye poked out

Two cons that I can think of, nothing major.

4 1/2 hours from Toronto in a sardine can was a little sore on the legs, for most of you that's probably not an issue.

The second, waiting to leave on the final day at the airport. I went to a pizza joint, 2 slices of pizza, a bottle of water and a beer, 27 US$, I nearly choked, I gave one slice of pizza back, 18 US$, gave the beer back 12 US$, that was my final proce, a slice of pizza and a bottle of water for 12 US$.

    The Pros of the place.

    Everything else.

The resort was super clean, the food was great, the beer was cold, the hot tub was hot, the people were friendly, the staff was excellent, the late night burgers were fabulous, even the black flagged beach was awesome. Went in the water a couple times, only to my knees and you could feel the undertow, but diving back towards the shore with the waves, they pushed you about 15'.

Went for a walk down the beach one day, all the vendors were out there (by the way, the resort is roped off and the vendors are not allowed across the ropes), anyway, while talking with one of the vendors, it became obvious that there was someone in distress out in the ocean from one of the neighbouring resorts. All of the vendors stopped selling and started whistling, a life guard from a resort came charging out onto the beach and all the vendors pointed to the people in distress, the lifeguard went out and saved two people that were getting pulled out into the ocean, a 12 year old kid and his Dad, without the actions of the vendors and the lifeguards I am sure these two would have drowned. Bottom line,. everyone was looking out for everyone else.

That would be really cool. 11 months out so can't do any firm committments at this point, but would love for something like that to occur. Have been following and enjoying your posts and insights for years.

I hear you too with staying up all day. I get around it by having a sleep from about 2-4 everyday. Missed it once this year and had to end the evening by 12:00 am. Also heard someone on another post refer to it as a SNAP, sex and an afternoon nap, works great...:)

    Maybe lightning will strike.
