Hello. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Temptations resort in Cancun and we are now curious about the Los Cabos one. I really loved going to Temptations but I usually don't go to the same place twice. Since I liked it so much, I would consider the Los Cabos one. Are they almost exactly alike? What are the main differences.

We have been to the Cancun location 3 times and have a GREAT time each. This year we visited the Cabos site and had a GREAT time. The people you meet at both locations is what makes the experience so fun. We've never been disappointed. A big PLUS for the Cabo's location is the roof top HOT tub. First, it's actually HOT! Typically the hot tub area fills up towards the end of the day and right before dinner. There's a swim up bar and the atmosphere is usually very fun. The Cabo's resport is smaller but I think you would enjoy your stay.

    Rob,
Fill me in on any Cabo info you get if you wouldnt mind, I am open to trying something new, as long as the airfare and price is similiar and we can get a good group going...

I think we would concider Cabo as well if we could get some of the April Addict group to go ..

we were book there for April but changed our minds and went back to TTR cancun..

Thats what I was thinking Kim, If we could get a group together to try something new...but for me, it would depend on the price difference, as I always have fun in Cancun and as we found out in April, there are always good people there... I would love to try some where new after a decade in Cancun...but I wouldnt shed a tear going back there for another april either lol

I agree Totally.. I think from Calgary it was a shorter flight and a bit cheaper .. but I dont handle booking our vacations.. Brewster could confirm that better..

the only thing that makes me even think of doing a change is the weather.. not that it stopped any fun that was had..and i know that the rain we had was uncommon but I have heard also that the Beach and weather is better.. but like you said.. I dont have an issue at all with going back to TTR cancun..

we already have about 10 interested and have verbal commits and they say "if you guys go we are in"

this might be a great opportunity to combine the two groups for some fun

i have heard nothing but good things about this place

    major advantages for our group

    (1) our group typically likes to hang at the resort (85 percent of the trip)and from what i can tell this place is ten times better than cancun for that type of group as they do not even take groups away from this location on a nightly basis..............as they do in cancun

    (2) can actually stay in the hot tub/pool till 3:00 a.m.

    (3) food is great and you dont have the reservation mess there

    (4) cabo weather - practically no humidity to speak of (from what i recall from our previous trips there in the early 2000's) and you dont have to worry about it raining you out as they get very little rain there

    (5) they have some great nightlife (very different from cancun) that would be kind of cool to check out

    (6) i would almost be willing to fly there just to eat at ediths (place is awesome)

    (7) price is very similar

    (8) fact is we could all go to a holiday inn and have fun but might be nice to mix it up for a change

    (9) we can create a booze cruise for cabo that week

    (10) its much smaller than cancun and we could truly have the place to ourselves if we combined our two large groups

    :)
