rdubnpk There are nudist clubs all over the US, many here in Florida. Just go the AANR web site and click on any state you wish to research. The most notable clubs in Florida are Caliente (not an AANR member) which is a really upscale and recently, from what I am hearing, a swinger leaning resort, and Paradise Lakes, which I believe is AANR affiliated, though I could be wrong. Both have on-site pools (of course), tennis and other sport facilities, lodging of various types, restaurants, and night clubs. They are not all inclusive and the day fees, for Caliente especially, can be rather daunting for all except those who are loaded like Diamondheaded.
We went to Caliente (4 hours drive from Ft Lauderdale) in March with 2 other couples..we had a really good time, loved it...and it's true they are leaning toward the lifestyle, but I didnt think it was blatant and we went during a huge party weekend (St Patties)..we met a lot of new people and everyone was very friendly (like at TTR!) and we were invited to several big after parties (after the disco). We also have 2 smaller c/o /nude hotels on the beach down here, one in Hollywood and one in Ft Lauderdale.
rdubnpk I told a story a while back about a meet and greet on a Thursday night at Caliente where a young woman meeted and greeted PK's privates shortly after introducing ourselves. This was in the main lobby area by the lobby bar. PK, maybe for the first time that I can ever recall, was being adventurous and wasn't wearing any panties. I looked at her husband and said "now there's going to be an f***ing line". Anyway, that was a couple of year's back. We don't swing, but it doesn't piss me off or freak me out to be approached. Caliente IS a very nice place.
As others mentioned, there are numerous designated places where topless or nudity is allowed. My curiosity was directed toward state and provincial laws regarding topless in public. My very first vacation was in 1996. I went to Cuba. I quickly became accustomed to seeing women topless. It was no big deal. When I got home to Ontario, where I lived at the time, the media was abuzz with stories about a young woman, Gwen Jacob, who had challenged the law. She went topless walking on a city street. It struck me as so ridiculous. Here I had just come from a communist country where it was legal and yet in my "free" country it wasn't. Anyway she won. It went to the highest court in Ontario. Because they were interpreting a Federal law, it has set a precedent for all provinces in Canada, though no others have had similar challenges to date. I did a bit more research: In 1986, in the District of Columbia, the law was challenged and defeated. The court ruled that genitals or "private parts" must be covered and breasts were not genitals or "private parts". Same thing in New York state, in 1992. Again in Ohio in 1995. And again in Idaho and Maine, in 1998. Very few women in these places "take advantage" of their new freedom, because of the social stigma, but it is available to them. So to all the ladies in Ontario and the states I mentioned.....have great summer!
