We're planning on buying it this weekend and getting a fitness program started....were bored with what were currently doing (or not doing lol) and want to try something different and challenging...

Says 90 days to a new body, so hope it can make even a small difference in 6 weeks when we go to Temptation!

Has anyone tried it or know anyone who has? Any thoughts? Comments? Suggestions?

    I'm doing P90X right now.

it's great. Honestly I have had struggles making time to do it 6 days a week and even worked so hard that I made myself sick for a week.

But if you make sure you keep pressing play and do your best and forget the rest.. you'll do fine.

Yes, I would defiantly recommend it.
I'm in week 13 and it defiantly made a difference. i didn't commit to the diet portion, so my results are not quite what you see on TV, but I did loose 2+" around my waist. And I was only a 34 to begin with.

I am going to start another round, with simply up-ing my rep's and weights to continue also.

You should be in reasonably good shape before you start. There is a list of exercises at the front of the manual (not sure if it is on line or not, that you should be able to do before starting the program)

Showing up is half of it. 6 weeks can make a difference.

p.s. I am about to order the P90X+ to help change up the routine.

we've both done it. We like it. A nice change of pace from our gym routine every 6 months or so. If you want to really get the great results, its all about following the diet, but its that way with everything. You can lift and cardio all you want, but if you can't quit eating burgers, pizza, pop and beer multiple days a week, you won't get the rock hard abs, lol.

I can't quit that stuff *L*.. it's too good.. but making sure that you have them in moderation is important.

I'd say if you're not going to follow the diet then your key focus for eating should be portion sizes and making your own food. Cutting back on the large meals and eating out will take you a long way.

Wow thanks for the info guys, thats very motivating...well not sure how good of shape im in, ive had 2 trainers in the last year that have kicked my ass and i was able to keep up well...im only working out 1x a week right now, i def need to kick it up...my BF's goals and mine are different though, I want to lose and tone, and will definately follow the diet, i dont think he will though, he loves to eat junk. He's very lean, wants to build up, maybe gain 10 lbs of muscle. Ok look at our toga pic in our profile so u get an idea of what were working with lol..
I'm getting excited now, this is motivating reading others opinions on it...I just hope to be able to make it thru a whole workout..

I just started reading a book about diet and portion control but I accidentally overturned my taco salad on it and then spilled my beer on it trying to rescue it... oh, well....

The only thing I can make out now is "Foods You Can Eat:"...which I am taking as permission....
