Not bad once you get out of the airport. It can be a zoo. I returned from FL Friday the 16th and it was a zoo.

The buses are always busy during am and pm shift changes. The beaches were pretty uncrowded last weekend, two I saw anyway.

Today the weather absolutely rocked. Nice and sunny but a killer breeze where you would not sweat to death. You should have great weather, maybe 5-10 minute showers in the PM but nothing to disrupt your trip. Bring sunscreen. You don't want to buy it here. $$$$

T.J. how much is sunscreen and bugspray going for in Cancun? I could get away with a few bottles of 30spf spray but I don't plan on checking a bag at the airport so taking them on my carryon will not pass I'm sure. Maybe if I can find some bottles 3oz or less I could get away with that, hmmmmm.

Well..it may be cheaper if you check a bag and if there is a fee, pay it. My neighbor went to Walmart (not the one tourists go to) a couple weeks ago and bought spray sunscreen and payed over 200 pesos (over $20 USD). Then her and I went to a Resort on Saturday and she went to the gift shop and they were selling it for 330 peso..$30 friggin bucks. The call is yours, but I will NOT be buying any sunscreen here. Your Dad isn't checking a bag either?
