Mid July Thinking about trip #2 in mid to late July. I did a search on "July 2009" to see the vibe for that time of year. I came across a couple of threads that said half the resort was closed off to guests for a week or 2 due to a convention in late July. It sounded like quite a few people were not happy about it. I would hate to get there and not be allowed everywhere. Any repeaters do any homework to make sure no conventions this time around? Is there any sort of calendar or someone we can call or write to about it? This was right after the swine flu last year so business was needed and a post said that there were about 250 people in the convention so you can't really blame management for that but it would be nice to figure into my decision about when to go this year.
Seems we're going to be missing most of you. We're booked July7th - 14th. First time at Temptation and can"t wait to get there!
I really tried researching this and could not find anything about conventions. Its sounds like most Swinger Conventions in July will be held in Jamaica (HEDO) or Dominican Republic (Something Calientes), this time of the year. They are having some really good deals but we have already done the Caribbean so we are skipping this. Since it allowed a mix of Couples and Singles, everyone tends to follow the conventions. So I'm pretty sure Hedo and Calientes will be very busy and wild the same time in July/August. Look at the dates below and there are other website that i found more information and more people attending. But Hedo and Calientes is the happening place, this summer.
Trying to find out if there are conventions booked during July. I'll get back if I can find out any information. I would hope they wouldn't close off areas of the resort for this!
Goin the 1st thru the 10th of July this year. The Fourth of July party was awesome last year and I hope they do it again this year!
