So in a few days, I am planning on heading down to Cancun to stay with some friends at the Oasis. Problem is, my name is not on the reservation. Our plan is to cut off one of my friends wristbands and super glue it back to my wrist and then they will say they lost theirs or whatever and I'll give them the 100 bucks for a new one. What are the chances of this working? Should I just bite the bullet and pay the fee (~300) to add another person to the room?

It can work but your going to be worried the whole time and what if you do get in and they kick you out??? I would just bite the bullet and pay the 300 dollars. At night when everyone is coming back from the club they are extremely strict at all entrances.

they were pretty strict with some people checking wristbands in depth this year, especially if they look tampered with....best of luck though

I don't think you'll get the answer you want here because if anyone start encouraging you to commit fraud openly on cancuncare, the thread will probably get locked.
