Done! Well - I DID IT! It was pretty much like the videos above..a lot of nervous and painful laughter. After a while I got numb to it (kinda)...and MAN was I swollen afterwards, but after a tube of Neosporin with pain relief and some Advil and I was able to go about my busy day. I LOVE the results but am a little hesitant to book the next appt. 5 weeks from now. I was told Lazer wouldn't work for me, hair is too light. i admittedly have some (male) back hair (not a lot), but plan on getting some of it waxed ALA The 40 year old Virgin..... just seems more attractive as well IMO. Go to the beach often here in FLA.
I just made my appt for the 8th a few days ago!!! I hope I am un-swelled and un-reddened by the time our flight leaves early AM on the 10th! lol Exactly 48 hours later. For those of you that just got it done... did it look normal the day after-2 days after? Or was it slightly irritated still? any clothing/thong irritations?
Hammie J - I would make the appt for 3-4 days before...just to be sure. I had small reddish bumps afterwards, around the bikini line, for a day or 2, but after that it looked and felt great! Make sure you apply lots of neosporin and/or aloe afterwards as that helped a lot with the healing, and keep the area clean! I went commando and wore loose clothing for the 2 days afterwards as well...just to avoid any discomfort...but didn't really experience any. Good luck!
awee... I tried making it 3 days before and that would land on a sunday and they are closed. 4 days before would be too early. Example: you can laugh... but I have a very boring job... and i plucked half of my one armpit..... from the bottom of the root, hair by hair. Took like 1 hour! It hurt slightly and i had small red bumps for a day or two... but i had stubble only a few days later! grows sooooo fast! I'm already worried getting it done 2 days before hand, but i wont dare get it done closer. i just dont wanna have to shave while we are there for the 14 days. Another thing.... they said my husband couldn't come in the room with me. not even to hold my hand! Isn't that silly? I've seen videos all over the net with a girl bringing her man or friend for support and giggles.
one of us has this done every 4/6 weeks but how menny men have had it done here in nottingham we call it forest free so no hide out for robin hood
dont ask me how i know but men a word of warning don’t have the two little friends below waxed it can tear the skin above and behind is ok but shave the two friends mrs mas left that bit out bad girl take her in hand later
Do it every trip. It is a little painful but well worth it. The girl I have is fast and does a good job. The grow back starts at the beginning of april. That is way more painful to me. NO SHAVING yikes until D day before my trip.
Too funny..........yikes the memories are just flooding back now. I just started the grow back to do the pull out............mamma mia I must be insane.
