Dave here. I work out hard 4 days a week. Just got back from the gym. I lifted 55,000 lbs in 30 mins at 45 reps in a variety of exercise then 45 mins on the bike and I still have a keg. I've been lifting for 40 years. Years of football and steroids when I was younger have taken their toll. Did I mention I have a keg?
Ya all those sugars in the drinks n food at TTR really bloat u fast. I look at pictures after the trip n think, Iwas in better shape than that! lol
We take a trip to get into shape each year...and each year I tell myself "this time I will keep off the 25lbs I lost" ....and each year I gain it back. I love cheeseburgers & donuts too damn much :_) Yep, we started our workout regiment & diet for the trip (wife doesnt really need to lose weight - maybe just firm a little bit)
I thought that was going to happen to us too with all those sugary shots. But instead I (Kyle) lost 10 pounds and Jen gained 4 pounds. Only logical conclusion is I did all the work in bed. On my way home from work now. Can't wait to tell her she owes me
We started the Insanity workout program about 2 months before we left. And as stated earlier your diet is at least 80% of your success. We ate the diet that was suggested with Insanity and after awhile it got to where we didnt really even like most of the foods that we ate all the time before, they just didnt taste as good as we remembered. so it really is a lifestyle change.

Nice bit on the sex thing! I'm 32 and I work out about 10-12 weeks before going on vacation and have been doing so for this trip (April 2010 trip). I work out 4-5 times a week. Two weeks before I'll do two-a-days on MWF. My wife works out about 3 times a week but that is only because she is working full time and in college full time also. I'm so proud of her!
K I am frustated to the max. I work out 7 days a week all year and have for the last 7 years and in the last 2 years because of hormones(my guess) I have put on 20 pounds. Now I am working my ass off hitting the weights hard, 45 min of aerobic every other day 20minutes on the days I do weights, walks every lunch and hey I down 5lbs and 7 inches but that just aint good enough for me. I was once 220lb and lost 80lb and I swore I would never have to lose this weight again. Well I got less than two months to Cancun and if it's possible I will be down the 20lbs. Just so I can drink back the usually 5 lbs. Well hopefully it works.
I'm down 15 lbs in last 2 months and hoping to lose 15 more, working out 30 min at lunch 3-4 weekdays and then on the weekend doing P90X which will end up being P120X times 3/4 because that's what I can get in haha... changed my diet somewhat, cut out virtually all sugars and eat my carbs before 3 pm if I can. Eat dark vegetables and whole grains... I could probably lose faster if I made a real commitment and worked out at least and hour a day but after the kids are to bed I'm pretty much zonked ... guess I'm resting for TTR !
