Monday, Steves infamous Booze/Boobs Cruise...what can we say. We had a very nice, hot day to be out on that pristine crystal blue water. TBC...OK. At home to finish Monday. We all met in the lobby at 9 AM or so. To he honest, with the amount of partying that goes on the resort, I thought half the people would bag the day. NOPE! They all showed up!!! I cant start to begin to remember, but Rick and Alesha and Matt and Nancy and Jim and Andrea and Troy and Rita and Bret and Michelle and Bret and Lori and Ken and Darcy and Kevin and Maya and Ron and Cindy...the list goes on and on. GREAT people we met here on the site! We get out into the gulf about a 1/4 mile or so and the crew stops the boat. They need something. They need to get the party going, before drinks even start flowing, all of the ladies tops must go up the mast to get the boat moving!!! The crew was fun, entertaining and made absolutely sure you NEVER EVER had an empty drink. About half way to the island, they stop for snorkeling and swimming in again what is the bluest clearest water I have EVER seen. Beautiful and breathtaking. We make our way to the island for a more traditional Mexican lunch and drinks followed by some adult games. Was a lot of fun and good day. While Mindi and I sat on the beach making our own Corona commercial, we spotted a NASTY looking storm cloud. Started to get darker and closer so naturally, I start thinking its not a good idea to go back in the water for a bit. "AMIGOS, VAMINOS!!!" the captain yells...WTF!!!??? I start thinking. I said, "hey, thats bad right?" Pointing to the cloud, he smiles and shakes his head yes. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we're really worried. Theyre gonna try to out run this thing! There was no lightning or bad wind, but nonetheless, we're worried. It starts POURING as we are hugging the coast of the island. BUT, we can see sunny skies. No shit. They ARE gonna out run the rain. After about 20 mins of getting drenched (while the women hid under their towels) we duck into a small canal on the island that docks at a small town. (not sure of the name). We have about an hour to go shopping or go drinking. Guess what we decided to do....YEP, more drinking. We go into this 100 ft long alley way, to a bar that couldnt be more dirty, greasy, traditional Mexican. I LOVE IT! The crew is inside having a few also. Hmmmm. Even the captain is throwing back a couple...I make remark to him and he "popeye's" it...GGGRRREEEEAAAAAATTTT. Not only are we drunk, so is the crew!!! No, really I dont think the captain was. But oh well. We head back to the boat to return to Cancun, more drinks, more party and more fun. As we were getting back, that rain storm caught up to us and lightly started again. No big deal, we had a wonderful day. And a HUGE night planned. Snap, Italian, Coco Bongo!!! Cant get any better. We get back to TTR, go to the sexy pool for one more drink, then head in for our SNAP anticipating the great Italian food and this massive night club we've never been to. Only seen on the internet and heard the stories about. We woke up Tuesday morning...
Thanx for the report . Sounds like you guys ended up having a great time . We want to be there NOW !!! Unfortunately we have to wait til Sept.
This is a great format for a report. Great work Bill. We got back yesterday and work is killing me. Just had a couple mins to try to get caught up on some posts and messages. Cant wait to start our trip report but no time. Maybe if I steal your daily format I can make it happen and start tonight. (Plus I need Jen to help me remember things) Nice meeting you all and cant wait to read the rest!
I`m glad I left a 'recovery day' after we get back, before I have to do the 4 letter word thing!!
I keep looking at people here and thinking, why the hell do they have all those clothes on? It is very confusing to go from 7 days of Temptation straight to work.
Lol, I had to be "spoken too" at the airport. Apparently you have to stop checking girls out once you leave.
