It seems that I wasn't able to login with my metboi08 id and after several attempts to reset the password, it still would not let me sign in. First off, this is a forum for people to post their thoughts and insight on Cancun so if you have a problem with me then don't read my posts. All I asked was if there were going to be gay guys down in cancun between march 8-april 1....that thread was closed by FLETCH because "this was going nowhere and nowhere fast." If I'm not mistaken, don't you guys ask if there will be girls down there the same time you are heading there? So don't be a hypocrite, bigot or any of the forms of ignorance and arrogance just because it might not be something you are comfortable with or agree with. It's not a good color on you or anyone....oh and Fletch, for the record, you're not even my type

It wasn't me and I would not support discrimination or bigotry of any kind. I don't think Fletch is the type who would either. Personally I would not close the thread but I have to say while you started sounding normal, toward the end you were starting to sound like someone who is trolling. This site has had serious problems with people who create fake accounts just to f*ck with others. If I have to guess, I think that's why your account got deleted. If you are indeed not a troll, I'd like to apologize on behave of whoever deleted your account. I hope you can understand as moderators, we have a job to keep the site clear of trolls for everyone else who are really here to enhance their trip experience. And here is some advice for the forum newbs. I think it's funny to joke around with people too. I do it all the time too. But maybe it's a good idea to get to know the people a little better before you start making fun of them. From my experience on many many online forums for many many years, people with low post counts and try to say things to get a rise out of others are most likely trolls. Hence if you don't want to be mistaken for one, try to get to know the people a little, then you can say whatever you want.
if saying something like 'dreams can happen especially in cancun haha' and LAUGHING about it is acting like a 'troll' then thats just sad. even if i had like 10 posts or whatever it was, give me a break, it's talking over a friggin computer. im soo sorry if people on this forum feel threatened because my main goal here is not to troll, but to have fun WHEN im in cancun, just like everyone else
What you said sounded like you were trying to say that Fletch would change his mind to make your dream come true. It can be interpreted as a joke or it can be interpreted as you were trying to get a rise out of Fletch. I am not saying there is anything wrong with you having low post count. All I am saying is that when you have a low post count and you sound like you are trying to get a rise out of people, people will easily assume you are a troll because that's the profile of someone who is a troll. There is nothing sad about it, trolling is serious problem for a lot of forums because there are a lot of people with too much free time on their hands. Your account was not the first account that was deleted for suspecion of being a troll (if that's the case that is, I don't know for sure but that'd be my best guess) and it won't be the last. Like I said, get to know the people a little before you make jokes that can be interpreted as trolling and you won't have this problem. We cool?
I'm the only one that can delete an account, Moderators dont have access to that function. No accounts have been deleted recently so it's more likely a problem with your password reset. Anyhow looks like you are up and running again now.
Thanks Steve but I was trying multiple times this morning to reset my password and it still wouldn't let me login which is why I made up this new name. Just wondering why my previous thread warranted a closing by Fletch. I understand its the moderators jobs to 'get rid of the trolls' but I don't see any of the 'heteros' threads being closed when asking if there will be girls there the same time they are there. It's hypocritical on his part....laughs and thumbs up were exchanged so sure, he doesnt have to agree with my lifestyle but shit, im trying to get some action when im down there just as much as the next person
