I stayed there in 2006 for a week. Nothing fancy, just a clean cheap little place on the lagoon. I passed out in the hammocks just about every night. Little grocery store nearby, right on the bus line. I got it so cheap that I was happy with a comfortable bed and a balcony. My room was right over the pool, had a mini fridge, and a shower that could fit 5 if I had 5 people to put in there.
if you had to you could stumble home from the clubs... directly across the lagoon from senor frogs. it's cheap and in cancun, that means it's all spring breakers in march.
imperial laguna another hotel question from me? anyone stayed here before, and where is it? is it close to the clubs?
Moderator note: since we are going to get really really busy with posts, let's try to minimize the number of threads as much as possible so important threads don't get buried to the second page. I merged your threads. Fletch, how do I change the thread title? I want to rename this to "Alberton's hotel Questions". Sometimes I can click on the thread title in the main page to change the name sometimes when it click, it just opens the thread.
Imperial Laguna is pretty much right next door to Grand Royal Lagoon on a small side street near Pok ta Pok. Basically they are across the main road (Kulcakan Blvd) from Ambiance Villas (Kin Ha) on the lagoon. They are budget hotels with limited amenities (small bars, Imperial Laguna used to have a small restaurant, etc). Usually these hotels are the budget ones in Student City packages, and on Travelocity.
Double click to the Right Said Fred...I mean to the right of said thread, and it will give you the option to edit. I'll get this one for ya
