To each his own I guess - I think younger single males can be a bit exciting for many couples. When we were on site a couple weeks ago - there was no problems at all. We let a young guy nicknamed 'Kentucky' do a body shot off the wifes left one - you'd of thought he just got a puppy at xmas that he didn't think he'd get! When she does things like this - but has her eye on me - I couldn't be happier.
So just got back. Will try to share the facts and not sterotype as I know that creates heated debates on this site . 50%-75% of our experiences with single guys at the resort were very positive. Sounds just like backs.. polite, just looking to party and very respectful. However, 25%-50% were the opposite. Aggressive, disrespectful and relentless. I am not talking about a few bad apples as some other couples we were hanging out with had the same issues. I guess alcohol and a clear high ratio of single males to single females can result in this. We just made the best of it and tried to take it as compliments. Just thought we would communicate our experiences. A lot was related to perv camera experiences but I will save those thoughts for the separate post on cameras. Given all of this those are the ONLY negatives of the resort. So if you can find ways to deal then hopefully you will have one of the best weeks of your lives like we did. Sorry to ramble on.
You don't have anything to worry about. The exact ratio varies. Last week less singles but still more guys than gals and then more of both seemed to roll in over the weekend and there were tons at the pool Monday.
Young single attendees! My wife would be sad if there wasn't a handful of single stud muffins hangin out (interesting choice of words huh). My wife is hot and I enjoy her attracting some attention. She always keeps her eye on me to be sure she isn't crossing the line and is always sure the dudes know she is my lady. I can explain further for interested parties.
Ratios change, but for the most part the single guys are polite. The occasional creepy ones are usually known and ignored or ostracized. Security is usually good about keeping an eye on things and not letting anyone feel uncomfortable. My wife has no problems giving an unwelcome advance a "Talk to the Hand" gesture and that usually stops anything unwelcome. I think you'll find that the single guys are more entertaining than a nuisance.
This post caught my attention and after reading it a few times I understand what you are trying to say, but wouldn't it be more accurate to say that as a swinging couple you just don't want to play with men only? I've never visited a swingers club or anything, but it seems to me that even if 90% of couples who invite a third prefer that person to be a female, there is still the remaining 10% who want to invite a guy in. The reality is that sometimes it sucks to be a single guy. We are the most likely to be left out of groups or excluded from activities at places like TTR. For example I personally won't wander into one of the pool jacuuzis if there are 2 or 3 couples in them unless I know someone in there and even then I don't want to be a 3rd wheel. Anyways just a little food for thought.
Keith, both you and Jim were great last April. Would love to share a trip with you again. The problem happens when you have a Welsh soccer club or some such thing as we had last April. Most of those guys were there to do nothing but power drink and thats fine, but a few were disrespectful DB's. Again, I would like to point out the majority were pretty funny and nothing but respectful.
totally understand, bigger groups tend to embolden idiots. I just find it interesting that a blanket no single guys unwritten rule seems to be in effect for many of the lifestyle oriented folks. For a group of people who are very open minded in many ways single men specifically don't tend to fit. Just looking at any woman and then at myself I can't say I would choose differently. For what it's worth I have noticed that larger groups of single women can approach those levels crudeness and touchy feelyness as us guys can. The difference is that more people like it coming from the women lol!!!
