    How much should i take , im going cancun for 10 nights 16th to 26th - i know the clubs are $50 dollars and departure fee is $50 - thats 550 but not sure what else i would need to pay for as I am going to an allinclusive hotel (gran caribe resort and spa)...

    and if i do bring extra money im thinking of just bring pesos or withdrawing from a cash machine

    After reading advice on this forum, i am going for 2 weeks all inclusive nd iim aiming to take £800 which i beleive is about $1200 or 15000 peso. Hopefully this will be more than enough but im also taking my card aswell just incase

    hmm ok cos i was thinking about £400 (600 dollas) in us dollas and 200 in mexican pesos (3750 mexican pesos or 300 dollas)

    Yeah we have to pay a $50 departure tax.

    I'm taking £600 for the week, Taking 500 in peso's and the other 100 in my bank as back up. I spent £600 the year before when the doller was 1:2 and £1000 last year when it was 1:1.3 both were for 2 weeks. So you should be fine on £500.

    that sucks, but assuming "we" means people flying out of England, hopefully you guys make up for that over the course of the trip with the stronger currency.

    It's not that strong against the $ mate, it's only 1.53 when i looked yesterday, so you'll get under 1.5.

    Depends on your taste and $$ spending habits....but for 10 days, think you will be aiight with 1000-1500 usd, with money to bring back home.
