I saw in the thread with the daily schedules that they have horseshoes tournaments at 10:30AM.....how many usually participate, or is that too early for the hardy partyers?? Tossin` a few shoes loosens up the elbow for tippin` a lotta drinks!
As many that show up, play. They split everyone into 2 person teams and then do a round robin elimination until only one team is left. A couple of days a week they have a tournament where you can win t-shirts. Chinos loves those t-shirts so he makes you play him to win them. Well he enters and usually is in the last pairing. So if you win them, you've earned something! As for who plays.. well there are those of us that are up all night and since shoes start 30 minutes after the bar opens we're ready to take on the new day. Jamie
Have to be careful playing Chinos and Sergio though...have a vid to prove how wrong it can go Ask Dave...he will attest to this since he was my partner despite the bet I made for us, lol
Chinos has split up the horseshoes into alternating days of horseshoes and cornhole. The tourneys are still on a day or so a week for each game, and the bags and targets plus the horseshoes are out every day if you want to play on your own. More people actually play cornhole than horseshoes, and they usually stay around for quite a bit longer. Chinos can be beaten in horseshoes if you don't let him keep score.
thanks for the heads up! I`ll have to keep an eye on him, then! LOL as long as I make sure to throw on the same side as him, he`ll have to be better than me.....if I get hot early......I`ll give him a run!
I too have ended up naked on the end of the pier that is no longer there. :icon_eek: Never knew so many people were watching that day. I don't know, maybe it's just me.... but I have a real hard time playing "cornhole" at Temptation..... Jamie
