Agree. There are some very loose analogies on this thread. If the posts didnt use the words 'singles' or 'ban' then I think we would have avoided these tangents and all agreed that simply intentionally taking pictures of others wives/gf's without permission is wrong and how to handle it is where the opinions differ. I plan on trying the ask nicely then take their picture if that doesnt go well approach. I like to think I am smart enough to know the difference between taking pictures of a group for memory sake and zooming in on a woman you dont know. Regardless, our primary reason for a vacation is to have fun so I dont plan on even caring unless there is an extreme situation like some of those described in the initial posts. 6 days to go!
Well Put ... I think the odds of having an extreme situation are rare and shouldnt ruin your vacation, Ive seen a few instances in the years ive been going down, but not enough to make it a common talking point...

This really gets too heated. People take it personally if anyone objects to a camera. The truth is, there is no way to know if any pic snapped will end up on the internet. That doesn't mean you are some demented perv, it just means the pic is in the public domain forever. Most here don't seem to care, and want cameras allowed, so that's the way it should be. Myself, I couldn't care less what pics are taken. But, I know for a fact that if there are cameras around, my wife will not participate in the games. That lessens my fun, so I just wish it could be a private party. Don't kid yourself, we'll have a great time. But I know already it could have been even better with more privacy. Whatever. The majority opinion should prevail, and those of us in the minority should chill. It's gonna be a blast for sure. 3 days and a sleep.
SW, thats a great way to put it, after all those debates we had... I bow down to that statement buddy lol...good job.. honestly , we all go there for fun, from single people to married , engaged, gay, young , old. And I think anyone with a normal head on their shoulders , which is everyone from this board for the most part, would not want to ruin anyones good time or stop anyone from enjoying their vacation and getting their moneys worth, So I truly believe that even if not from this board if someone saw a perv taking pics of your wife or anyones wife or girlfriend any normal guy would step in , its the moral thing to do, and thats all I think me and Dos Equis and the other single guys are saying..... all for one and one for all.....
This issue is going to continue to pop up as newbies experience the same thing. Just like: What to bring? Do I need a power converter? Should I wear this bikini? Is TR a swingers resort? and a million other questions that newbies ask all the time. The :deadhorse: happens all the time .. it's just the heated topics that we notice. Maybe one day we'll actually come up with a good compromise for the camera debate after all this...
nat/ian suggestion - we could have the sexy pool as a camera friendly zone and the quiet pool as the camera/loser/tool hater zone
After much discussion with my husband we both were left wondering who would think that they are so special that family, friends, co-workers would have nothing better to do with their time than search millions of pictures on the internet for your picture showing your ta ta's. or whatever. If someone has a picture of mine that he/she needs to take a look at every once inawhile or blows them up to poster size so be it. Who the really cares. If it was a problem for me I would keep my top on. Second if your ashamed of your behaviour then maybe you should either get over yourself or go elsewhere. Our understanding that what happens at Temptation stays at Temptations... however we are all fairly intelligent and know not everyone will follow that. So what it comes down to is your at a public event, public place, pictures will be taken... top on top off. Its up to you. Relax have fun.:lotsofmichaelfs:
