I dont think sundance meant anything bad either, I just read the thread title and said oh boy, here we go again lol... I also agree Ian, that years ago they used to close the curtain on the games at night and if you didnt participate you couldnt enter and etc, and I think there still should be something like that in place for private games and even casino nights and lingerie nights, if you dont participate you shouldnt be able to watch or take pictures....I just wanted to reply initially incase any 1st timers or newbies so to speak read this thread , they didnt think all single guys with cameras meant you push or throw their camera in the water haha....
we could start a week lol...lets get a roll call going.... APRIL 13 - 21st - backs 13 just kidding...but i Know what ya mean, there is a lot of great people on this forum that know all of us and know what we mean, so i know they know what im talking about, I just like the new people to know , so whenever I see a thread like this, i like to come on and defend the single guys and just give a secondary theory on the camera debate
Ian you and I are on the same page. This topic has gone on for the last few years with people voicing opinions on both sides. The reason this is constantly brought up, is that it is getting out of control. People complain about lack of participation in games or the games are too tame now...HELLO GUESS WHY??? There was camera restriction at BBG. It worked. Vacationers didn't have to get in others faces. Why can't we go back to that camera policy? Marsh
Yeah, I agree. I am tired of the single perv girls taking pictures of my package. Lets outlaw single girls at TR!!! Sorry, couldnt resist trying to find humor in all of this back and forth and analysis of what people meant to say. If I had my way it would be me, my wife and only single girls allowed (sorry, I have to be careful with wording, shouldnt say 'single' girls. Married girls are of course allowed too)
Honestly I think it's up to us as a group to get TR to bring it back. If each person here that visited TR complained every time someone was perving with a camera or told the staff that we didn't want cameras in the games they'd get it. We don't need to get in someone else's face... a quick mention to Chino, Mario or any of the other entertainment staff should do the trick.
I'll help with any camera ban. It's a no-brainer. It doesn't matter what your intentions are with the pics. It ruins some peoples' vacations when you take them. So just don't do it. What's the big deal with having to have pics?
I think one big part of the picture epidemic is the fact we have mostly digital cameras now. Until about 5 or so years ago you had to use discretion when to shoot because you only had so much film and it cost x dollars to develop it. Now that we have digital almost limitless film capabilities for cheap $$$ I think that most people think they need to take 400 to 500 pictures per trip. So maybe the pervs aren't as pervy they just feel the need to get multiple shots so they can pick and choose the ones they want.
I hate to walk this fine line, cuz i know to some its touchy, and I dont want to piss people or come off the wrong way, but if im paying just as much money as someone that wants to go topless or play games or do ADULT things...then I should be able to have to the same freedoms to do what I want...(again, not saying invade someones privacy by taking pictures of someones wife topless or just being plain rude...I dont mean that in any way) but please remember this is Temptation resort, that allows topless sunbathing and adult themed entertainment.... its doesnt say, Temptations resort...a couples retreat for private fun and private games .... I Dont mean to come across like I condone perverts that take bad pics, but come on....We have all had fun reading peoples trip reports and we all say , post some pics, or when a new member comes on here and we can show them in pictures about what they want to know....to have private shows and allow no pictures, im all for it, to do casino night and say no pictures...im all for it.....to do lingerie night and say no pictures, have at it...but to say i cant take pictures, cuz someone across the pool may think im taking it of them when its really my buddy next to them or something...no way.... go to Desire if people want that much privacy, Im sure i pissed people off with that , but im sorry.. i pay as much as every one else, Ive been going there for a decade, if i want to take a picture, as long as im not being a pervert or rude...and they are pics of my friends or drinking buddies, then im going to take that picture...
I see your point Backs, and you seem like the kind of guy that is no problem. But, times have changed alot in the last few years. There are many mothers going to this resort that are looking to have fun. The thought of their kids seeing them topless is terrifying. Should they not be able to go to this type of resort because you want to take some pics? Not so much you, but many other unknown people? Should the fear of their pic getting on the internet ruin their vacation? I think their right to go to an adult resort and have some fun trumps your right to take random pics for no reason other than a walk down memory lane.
