Sundance, huh, no idea that was you we were talking to at TTR. We were with the agricultural engineer.

Also just for the hell of it I think I am going to see if I can't buy a fake camera that shoots water out of the 'lens'. I think that would be infinitely entertaining to me should some annoyed person come up if I look like I am taking inappropriate pictures... maybe fill it with some tequila or other shooteriffic beverage...

Ok what's with the bum rap for singles (mature or otherwise) Sundance? It seems that anyone who gets creepy with a camera is a solo traveller and quite frankly that is not the case. TTR would not be fun for me or fun in general without the mix of both singles and couples as you need both for mingling purposes. '"unfortunate prudish women and mature singles that go home and jack off" as you say seems to be taking it a bit far I think. Just bc I don't like struttin' my stuff doesn't make me a prude or a perv. I go to TTR for the adult only spring break atomosphere but am drawn to it too bc it is not a couples or swingers only place. I am a female so I can't speak for the men that go there but for the two times I have been to Temptation (Cabos and Cancun), I met very nice gentlemanly single men, with the exception of one who was just a bit full of himself. Some of the creeps I met came in twos...so please don't generalize and make such TTR visitors appear as 'loosers' which btw is spelled losers.

I'm sure Sundance didn't mean anything against all singles... but instead was telling the story as they saw it... a single male perving with his camera.

The issue has always been the same. People taking pictures of someone that they don't have permission to. It's controlled at Hedo and Desire so why not control it at TR?

CLG said they were approached and declined but the person took the picture anyway..... how rude is that? That guy's camera should have taken a trip into the pool.

It would be nice if the resort handled this camera issue, before it leads to physical altercations. I've never been to TTR yet and sure don't expect to have an answer. But my priority is for my wife to have a nice relaxing uninhibited vacation, and not have her worry about whether some photo of her topless might show up on the internet. So I would just as soon have certain areas of the resort off limits to cameras, at least at certain times of the day. Otherwise I guess she may just prefer to keep top on when cameras may be around.

We've been to TR when it was BBG and I (Ian) went to it way back when it was Blue Bay Village and cameras were very well controlled. Especially in Nice Shoes during the events. You were told no cameras and if you were caught trying to bring one in or use one you were quickly asked to leave.

The same around the pool. Chino and the staff had no issue centering people out who were "perving".

At some point though (around the time Lynn left) they decided to stop enforcing the no camera rule. This is also the same time when participation in games and events dropped way off.

I also think it can be said for pic viewers on here as well. Since my wife and I will be first timers to TTR when we first came on the site we were looking at various pics that everyone has posted to get an idea of what to expect at the resort. We haven't gone out and asked for passwords to view private pics just so we can see some T & A and anything else that may be in those. Its kinda funny to see some popping in and asking for passwords just so they can see some nudey pics and its obvious they have no good intentions with those.

    Doxiegirl for President

:aktion033:I agree with doxiegirl...and I wonder how you know that the pervs with the cameras are single guys? Maybe the wife is at the spa or sick in the room that day? I'm a single gal and have been to TTR 5 times in the last 2 years(solo). My experience is that the men have acted like gentlemen. Now the women on the other hand....well, they act more aggressively than any of the men I've encountered.
So stop picking on the single guys. I wish there were weeks when it was singles only and NO couples, but I'm sure that will never happen.
