We were there from 1/30/2010 until 02/08/2010.....not cold, very nice, warm weather...couple days of rain, but it beats the 0 degrees F here at home on the 12th......:sunny:
It's turned a little chilly the last day or so. Not as cold as before but lower temperatures than usual for sure.
Well thats not good. We will be there next Sunday hope its warmer by then. Everyone turn on your heaters open your doors and build bon-fires in your yard. Get the temps back up before we get there lol
There have been more sunny and warm days, in recent weeks, than the opposite. This AM, it's partly cloudy, a little breezy, and we're planning to head to the beach early this afternoon to catch some rays. Looks like a very low probability of snow, today. Come on down, there'll be more than enough warm weather and sunshine to have a good time. (There's just been one period I recall this winter in which there was more than a day or two of cloudy and cool weather, and that week or so was so remarkable that we're still focusing on it, as this thread suggests.) _____________________ Later- Well, the weather made an ass of me, yesterday, when the temps dropped into the 50s at around 7 P.M. It's 5 A.M., now, and already a good deal warmer, as Cancun pushes back against this attempt by Florida to spoil our weather, here.
Does it typically get this cool in the evenings? I am packing light and wasn't planning on bringing pants or long sleeved shirts or anything, but I don't want to be chilly at night...
When we were there it sometimes got chilly at night from the wind blowing in. We were glad to have our little pull over jackets, pretty much just a windbreaker.
Your coming from CT, so wear a jacket to the airport. Nothing heavy, but you are leaving a very cold climate, so you'll want one anyway. A light jacket is all you will need, as the wind from the Ocean does get the nights here a little chilly.
Yea was planning on wearing jeans & a hoodie leaving here, so hopefully that will be enough! Thanks for the reply
