Yes blackberry IM uses the internet as well. Only SMS and voice calls don't require data service.

Just noticed i could get 10mb of Data for £20... but i used 2174mb last month, so i don't think that will get me very far!

 

if you have aim/aol..... type in + then the phone number. I do this all the time to text cell phones and all cell phones, even cheap virgin mobile phones can text back to it.

example IM (+2122222222) no dashes.. just the + sign, area code, and number

 

Yeah, £20 for 10mb is like $0.32/kb. That's pretty expensive.

 

He is not going to have data service hence no internet and no AIM.

 

It's now set up so that if anyone sends me a facebook message to my message inbox it comes through to my phone as text. I might be able to send a message back through this, or text straight to your phone.

 

I'll be getting there about 3 on the 8th. So you guys need to text me what club you're going to and we'll meet you there, we'll go to the hotel, unpack and shizzle, have some food and a nap then hit it up!
