Good idea. Try to see if you can narrow it down to only forward SMS from certain friends too so you don't get like a billion facebook SMS.
I talked to a rep at ATT a few weeks ago, they said to contact them right before I leave....seems pretty inexpensive for all you get out of it.

$0.50 for text is ridiculously expensive. Email and FB messaging via internet will be minimal size wise (unless you have attachment). A email with the length of a sms message is about 1-2KB. Good thing ATT doesn't charge for incoming sms outside of US. So you people with sms capabilities oversea should give Sam your number so he can txt you and we can respond to him back via FB message.
