How the hell am i gonna meet up with you guys at the Oasis?

I don't really want to be carrying my phone around by the pool. What i was thinking is i could come down early, like 10/11am, give you notice before hand, meet up at one of your rooms then leave me stuff in there til we go back to get ready for the night out?

Meeting up on nights out is a bit more tricky, if we're on the group travel from the Oasis then there is no point coming down from our hotel, all the way down to the Oasis to go to a club opposite our hotel. So if you let me know what club you're going too we could meet you in there.... I'll always have my phone on me on a night out, and i can send/recieve texts. Data roaming will not work.

You may have to talk to Andrew about that. Me and Steve have Sprint and we won't be able to send/recieve text once we leave US.

My phone will have internet access. Worst case, if you can't find Andrew, you can try to email/fb message me from the Oasis computers if you need to find me. Is there a way to email a text to you? Like for AT&T, we can do personsnumber@txt.att.net and it'll go to that person's phone as a text. Won't for me incoming but I can email your address and it'll go to your text if British phones work that way.

Nope, never heard of emailing to text, although i have heard of texting to email.

But that goes through MMS, which is different to Txt, so i won't be able to do that abroad either. How do you normally meet up with people Henry? And have you got a wristband?

Try to google email to txt for your carrier. It works for a lot of carriers in the world, not just US. See Send a Text Message for example.

Joe Andrew Steve Norma and I will have our blackberry so we can IM each other at no extra charge. BC/Fletch/Chaz should have internet on their phones so we can email/fb each other. You Brits are the pain in the ass with no internet. Non Sprint users (I think everyone except me and Steve) should be able to send/receive txt, it's just not cheap. You'll have to make arrangement with them. Actually, the cheapest person to txt is probably Norma since her phone will be local and she can relay the message to people with blackberry. That'd be free.

    And no wristband yet. :(

But Norma is not at the Ho'asis either!

I got charged £20 last year, so about $33 just for calls going through to my Answer Phone!

She can relay the message to someone who is at Oasis if you really can't find us. Did you try to google email to txt for your carrier?

What about any of your friends? Do they have a different carrier?
