I wasn't being rude when I responded before and I'm not being rude now.... but with all honesty one persons experience is not going to help me. Everyone has different reactions to everything. There are those with sensitive skin and regular skin. As far as what is "ok" to talk about and not ok to talk about.... I dont know who ever came along in society and said oh if you do this you are wrong/weird. Its a fact of life. Like urinating and relieving your bowels. Maybe it's because I'm in the medical field and hear about this stuff all the time. Either way, ignore me if it makes you happy. doesn't make a difference to me. Not hurting my feelings.
Glad to see that most of them were laughing thru it...loved to see the clip of that guy! Thanks..now I'm ready!!
leaving for TTR this next Saturday...yipppeeeee! gotta get to my wax girl this week..this is money well spent! AND YES! do was front and backside...you never know what kind of mood you might be in.....you do get in some funny positions to get waxed, but don't you get in some "funny" positions after you get waxed? Too much rain in California...need to see the sun.....(TTR 2/14-2/20)
Well, read all of the posts and saw those videos posted from utube and went for it. Just got my first brazilian wax done today and oh my!!!!:blueshock: Certain areas were more painful than others to wax, but I love the end result. It's been an hour since the wax and the area is sensitive but she gave me some aloe vera gel to put on it and that seems to help sooth the area a lot. Good luck to the rest of you. I'm thinking of becoming a regular so either I'm into s & m or just love the results that much. Or both!! :angel1:
Thanks for the info...Good to hear from someone fresh from the salon! My appt is next Friday. Looking forward to it...no really, I am!
Look into the laser treatment. In the long run its less money, permanent, and less painful. The bonus to the laser is that with the hair no longer growing the skin no longer has that slight goosebump effect.
I've been getting the laser treatments for the last two years. YES, it takes two years or so. Only problem I have is it doesn't removed the light colored hairs. So I still have to shave, but not that much.
I LOVE brazilians and am absolutely getting one before going to TTR Cabo in March!! I have recently discovered "sugaring" and, especially if it's your first time, highly recommend it. Gets everything off with not as much irritation and pain...gets you in some fun positions, but you leave ready to go ;-)
Thats pretty much where Christen is. Getting 8th laser tomorrow and waxed on Mon for TTR Tues... Just in case:lotsofmichaelfs:
