Has anyone ever done the www.temptationresortreport.com deal? They advertise $660 a week if you attend the presentation. Just wondering if it is legit?
No it's not legit. It's a high pressure time share sales pitch. It's a complete ripoff and waste of time. Here is a long standing thread on the subject: http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/1317-watch-out-premier-members.html Marsh
time share it's a timeshare sales pitch. have to agree with texas couple. it would not be so bad but they keep changing the rules and fees and not in your favor. do not waste your time
I may be wrong but I interpret the question differently. Are you asking if the 660 for 6 nights deal as long as you attend the full presentation deal legit? Or are you asking about becoming a timeshare member? If it is the former then I have the same question. I decided against it this trip since I found such a good deal via skoosh but I was tempted also!!!
I really hope so, cause were counting on it... Were booked for April 22-29th, and I think it's the second day that we are required to do the 90 minute, first thing in the morning. We have a confirmation Number, but haven't paid anyting down yet. They are supposed to contact us a couple weeks prior to the departure day to complete the details. I assume that's when we give them our credit card # . It all seems a little different than what were used to, hope it all works out. Our flight is booked seperately, so either way were heading to Cancun. I'm sure things are good. You know what they say about assume - makes an ASS of U and ME. They'll feel my wrath if things go south. Really looking forward to meeting everyone, 76 more sleeps... but who's counting:lotsofmichaelfs:
Did you go through IMS Vacation? We have never tried this before, and my wife wanted to give it a shout.
We too took the promotion and the 90 min. tour but could not pass up 6 nites in cancun for 621.00 I'll give up 90min to save 1000. We arrive next march so it should be interesting to say the least. I'm already starting to practice how to say no. Tim
Hmmm you could always start adding ridiculous conditions to the sale... For example it's a deal breaker if you can't get a massage-with-happy-ending or complimentary iguana in your room on every trip.
if you think for a min its going to be a 90 min presentation I think you will be sadly mistaken. we have been sucked into a little of that type thing before and it sucks. They are really good at making it seem like it is "almost" over ...HAHAHA I watched so many people get dragged around resorts in the past ...poor things. I am on a HOLIDAY. Last thing I could take is a lond BS session. If it Barks like a dog and walks like a dog.......Somethings ARE to good to be true. Hope not for your sake but dont be angry if its not quite what you thought?
from experience ! remember you are buying in a foreign country, they can and will change the rules...you can do nothing about it...see above reference to Watch out Premeir members. That being said temptaions is the best resort and most revisited resort in the entire area. THEY RUN 70-80%, the rest of the resorts are 25--30% full. Enjoy your trip
