I still dont understand why. It's like i'm being pressured to be irresponsible. kinda stupid if you ask me.

haha... ewww brown!!!! yucky!! I bring white, baby blue, hot pink, silver, black, white platform flip flops, black platform flip flops, my running shox, and heels. haha and my purse! lol we wont even go there. my current purse is like 14x17x6 and i can't find anything in it! lol

No one's pressuring you to drink nor have we ever. It's as if one person mentions alcohol you come in and tell us how you're mature and too old to drink, when nothing was ever directed towards you in the first place. Which, for the record, you're younger than I am, and most of the regulars are older than me. Just like the other thread I mentioned my drinking habits last Spring Break, and you came in and had to ask if drinking ever gets old. I don't need to booze to have a good time, but it sure as hell helps. It's called liquid courage for a reason. Don't feel pressured by anyone here, most of us drink heavily and have an insanely good time hanging out with each other. If that wasn't true we wouldn't have made all the trips we did just to see each other over the past year.

 

But why do you feel as though my statements are pointed at you or anyone else for that matter. Last year, yes, i took the wrong approach to it. This year.... I just said how I felt about it. I'm not forcing my opinion on ANYONE else. I realize that when two people feel differently about a situation.... one is not right while the other is wrong. They are both right, just different. No one is the same. It'd be different if I say it everyday..".. but I think I've only said it like two times this year so far..... and it was in the sense like "i dont drink like that...." or whatever else. That is talking about ME and MY preferences. That's not an indirect low blow at someone else who does drink. and i DO touch alcohol when I'm down there. It's just not enough to get me drunk.... not even close. Maybe like one-2 pina coladas a day.

Just because Cancun is party central.... doesn't mean everyone goes there to party. People go there for their honeymoon, family vacations, to explore a new beautiful location.... etc. I don't go there to drink, or anything else but to lay on the beach and tan and explore new parts of the city. I dont club at home and sometimes I enjoy shaking my booty. I plan on doing this every night this year for at least 5 minutes! lol.

Sorry I am not as extreme as everyone else. People grow up at different times. For me, that was like 18. Clubs started getting boring, drinking wasn't fun... etc. I just wanted to get married and have kids! Like I've said again and again... to each their own. My wants are mine and will never be yours and your wants and your desires are your own and will never be mine.

I really don't even think this whole conflict was necessary. I don't jump down everyones throat when they talk about getting down and dirty, drunk, passed out, falling over. So please don't knock me when i say that I've grown past it or its not for me. Yes there are people out there in there 40s and 50s that do this..... but everyone will learn the damages of alcohol at one point.... hopefully its not too late!

Anyway, even though I dont know you Chad, I am a very sucky Christian, but at least I try... and I love you anyway. Yes.... I love you. Sad thing is, I have a terrible memory and probably couldn't pick from a crowd of three people. I'm not sure if we met last year or not.... but I do remember your name on here. I am not here to fight with you or anyone else. I really am a lover night a fighter. If any statement I make offends you or anyone else.... either PM me or ignore it. I'm not here to create drama or anything else.

So from here on out.... lets just drop it. Sorry if you took my statements personal or if I offended you OR anyone else. I love you all.... now lets all just get along, be friends, and get ready to party!(in different ways of course, lol :icon_razz: )

As Rob said ( aka Fletch ), That would get the kids talking. You gotta understand that these are the Spring Break Threads for Cancun. And chances are your not gonna get many married ppl, christians, non-drinkers etc. on this part of the site. Your gonna get younger, party animals full of piss and vinegar.

So when someone says that they are going to Cancun during Spring Break and doesnt need to drink or hook up like the rest of the ppl here to have fun ( which again is mostly party ppl ) cause they're past that age, it does comes off kinda pompus.

However, I can tell tht you dont mean anything by it and not lookin to get a rise out of anyone. your just telling ppl how you do. But in doing so, you should expect the wrath of the party animal!

anyway, moral of the story...... I dont have one! just sitting at work killing time.
