Hi, i am going down to the Gran Caribe Real from mar 20-27. however I will be 17 when I am there... do you guys know how strict they are on the drinking age? there is a small group of us booked through a company so we wont be with our parents, and the company doesnt mind if we drink. so would the hotels give us an adult wristband? if not do you think trying to tip them/bribe them would change their mind? Also do the clubs ID you? thanks!
They don't really care about drinking age in Mexico. In fact, US is probably the only country in the world that has a strict drinking age.
ya there's no such thing as an "adult wristband" they are all the same for people staying at their hotel.
Not true...Most hotels that are AI have a different color bracelet for those under 18. They tend to be strick at the hotels about it, but not at the clubs; and the clubs will not ID you. You can try, but if you get a "minors" color, you will have a VERY hard time getting drinks at all in the hotel.
Yeah the hotels I've stayed at make everyone show their ID before they allow them to stay. (All inclusives that is)
for your hotel all u gotta do is make a fake id, the people in mexico have no idea what your states id actually really looks like so it can be shitty and they wouldnt know the difference. and the clubs wont care one bit how old u are
ok cool. do you think bringing my cousins ID who looks realitivly like me would work. or since it has a different name no point?
