Hey-- I have read different things about the required Oasis Cancun security deposit. Some say it's $27 non refundable, some say $125 refundable. Also, when I booked my trip online and went on the resort's website too, it said it is required for 23 year olds and younger, but some blogs read all the way up to 25 years. I am 24 years old, been out of college for 3 years, not going there for spring break, just as a vacation. Will I be able to avoid this charge??? Please help :)

Find out first hand contact hotel yourself @ 011 52 998 881 7000 I thought it was under 25, but its always subject to change. That way you know yourself. Put it this way, I dont think I have had the 2nd required wrist band (Insurance) in over 11 trips. I am returning for trip 13 in March

Oh man so expedia must have had the wrong information. That is really frustrating... I wonder if maybe I print the expedia stuff that says 23 and under if they will honor that... or will they just force the insurance from us anyways. I am still confused on this whole thing :(

Hey look at that. it only took me a year to get to 500 posts. At that rate, give me 30 years and I'll be where Fletch was before the forum transferred over.
