They will tell to go set up a tour or breakfast meeting to show you around the resort. That is the time share pitch. We would love to show you both around and it won't cost you 30,000 dollars, just a drink! (lol)
I've heard the airport is just like LosCabos a busy beehive of anxious time share reps trying to get you to talk to them...I hated it...but being from NY, found it easy to ignore them! :banghead:
easy to spot them. :banghead: anyone INSIDE the airport after you get your bags are timeshare people. dont let them stop you or slow you down. they will ask to see your hotel transportation vouchers. just say no thank you and keep walking. :aktion070:
We booked with fun jet. They have a shuttle available outside, shuttle is clearly marked, drivers all have shirts that say Fun Jet, so should be easy to find. They will be dropping people off to some other resorts so may take longer to get there, but no worries and it is already included in our vacation package, worked really well last year.
im 99% sure ALL the prebooked vans and drivers are located outside.......they have signs and shirts with the name of the company and/or your name. when you walk passed the "stoplight" at customers you have to walk the "guantlet" just say no thanks i know where im going. they will ask to see your transportation voucher. thats a ploy to slow you down and find out where you are staying.:icon_eek::icon_eek:
As far as the time share people go anywhere, just say NO NO NO, cause believe me they all LIE LIE LIE.
I can no longer find the information online but at one point I read the entire employee sales training for selling time shares at TTR. It was scary. This thing was put together by whoever is in charge of propaganda and psy-ops for the travel industry. Lots of time and money was spent on learning human behavior before they came up with this. Think of it like smoking crack, you can't get hooked if you never take a hit. You can't buy a timeshare if you don't go to the breakfast tour. I always feel so bad for the people at the breakfasts.
