What does everyone think about Hotel Hopping? We are already booked for the Golden Parnassus for March, but it is my husband's birthday and our anniversary in May. I wanted to just stay at one place.... but there are so many wonderful, beautiful hotels in Cancun that we were thinking about staying 2-2.5 weeks and just hotel hopping. We are thinking about doing 4-5 days EACH at: Our usual: Golden Parnassus then Temptations then Gran Melia then maybe Gran Caribe, Dreams, Riu Palaca Las Americas Maybe 3 hotels per hop session would be the max.... but I will have been to Cancun five and SIX times this year! I've stayed at Golden Parnassus FIVE times! lol. I want to try somewhere else but i just love the family I've made at the Golden! So that's why we will be hopping for his bday/our anniv. this year in May. I know we will be back March of 2011 so we can try out more then or stay at our favorite of this years 3 then. We just need to "get out more"... lol. I'm sure there are more beautiful resorts out there! What are some of the most beautiful resorts you have ever seen? We prefer all inclusive but if it's not too bad in price, it's not big deal if it's not an AI hotel. We would love somewhere with awesome architecture, beautiful landscaping, gorgeous pools, hopefully a swim up bar, maybe beach cabanas maybe even a waterfall, nice comfy rooms, yummy restaurants(we aren't picky at ALL! lol) and friendly staff that actually cares(never had a problem with this at the Golden, but i've heard to many horror stories). We will be staying at Dreams at the end of February. Can give you a report on the hotel then, but that may be too late for you by then.

The problem with hotel hopping is that if you find a place that is great.. you have to leave. Then you're at the next place wishing you were at the previous place. Not fun... Jamie
hehe i didnt mean directly at ya love! hehe but I'm happy you found your place. I dont have a reason to ever leave gP but i'm sure TTR is amazing as well as a few others. Id hate to have GP lose business out of my greediness though lol
I know that... But I bet TTR will be a lot more fun for ya the GP, and it's not your greed but a search for the best value for your vacation dollar. Jamie
lol! it's like.... my favorite restaurant is texas roadhouse. in the 4 years that they have been open, I've ate there anywhere from once a week-5 days a week. I LOVE TRH still, but just want to try restaurants I've never tried before. TRH will always be my heart, and i will always go back... but of all the times i tried TRH I could have expanded my boundaries and enjoyed other food elsewhere. lol
