Does anyone have any recent pictures of the outside of La Boom? Any chance someone may buy it in the future and fix it up? I'm just curious to see what it looks like these days.
No pics as I usually pass by at 50 mph but it's a mess, and the red London bus round the back looks even worse. Been for sale ever since Wilma, I doubt anyone would ever fix it up as nightclub again - it's too far out of the action. If anyone does buy it I'm sure they'll flatten it and build condos or a small hotel. Shame it was my favourite club years ago when I still enjoyed clubs.
La Boom I passes by it a couple of weeks ago and it looked like an abandoned building. Did not even notice the bus or the phone booth.
Drove past it tonight - phone booth still intact. I used to work for a company that did a ton of work with them...oh man do I miss Tequila Boom, and I don't club anymore either.... Anyways, as far as I know just like Fats there are no plans in the near future for the land!

I'm also thinking that when we go to Cancun in March.... taking the bus down there and taking some pictures of it. I'm not too-too familiar with the area.... is there beach on the lagoon side too? I dont think there is..... but would i be able to walk around back and take pictures? or is it A)fenced off, or B)Private property? Lol I am a bit of a goody two-shoes. haha.
