well, there are some mixed feelings about the way that some people feel about Chino's. Lynn and I just returned from there,Jan.23/10 and I will say that although, the complete entertainment staff is great, Chino's and Brenda as the host, the days that Chino's had control over the mike, he "made it happen" with the crowd. He has his ways, and words of getting everyone involved in the daily activities. Call it loud, or rude...we all are grown adults, and if we can't handle the way he runs his daily programs, maybe we should stay at a more relaxed and family resort....in short, we loved the guy,and what he does for the resort......as I heard him say, "people, this isn't the Holiday Inn... Keith & Lynn PS, yes he is still at TTR
I think jamie put that perfectly, I did not mean to question why you didnt like him, its just not something i ever hear... .... he is a very down to earth mellow guy if you meet him off the microphone, i had dinner with him last year and he such good , down to earth person... understandably, everyone rubs people the wrong way sometimes, but i encourage you guys to give him another shot, may be real worth to you and him...
Everyone reacts to individuals in their own way. We have found Chinos pretty harmless, and a lot of fun. The crowd at TTR is definitely on a different level when he is the one with the mic. I am always amazed at how he is bouncing around the resort at 7:30 am. He must love his job! To me his job seems like a complete repeat of the previous day, previous week, and previous year. Other than the great weather and great scenery, I think his job is pretty tough.
I went on one of the "power walks" up the beach with him and 3-4 other people. He was not the person that you see at the pool at all.
