no, hes only there after 11 or so... they are amazingly good... just thinking of them makes my mouth water lol

i was trying to find an apartment on tulum but somehow the guy who was gonna help me told me its not available anymore, so im trying to find something cheap lol

 

You got the right idea. Many places you can walk into all around the hotel zone. You got places like Slices to Carlos n Charlies to whatever little place is serving beverages. You'll have a very low tool factor to deal with in those style places.

 

slices. i liked terasta, and just thinking of taco factory late night makes me weepy eyed.

This is a great post so far, thank for the tips! I'm arriving friday with a group of 10. Most of us haven't been before. We'll probably go to a club at least once but the bars you're talking about are exactly what we're looking for. Any other suggestions? What about a true locals bar outside of the HZ. And would it be safe to check out a place like that?

 

it is safe... but they might try to charge you more if you look like tourists and dont know where you are going, the cool bars downtown are in yaxchilan avenue (pronouns jack-she-lan) "asador" was my all time favorite

 

I Love Los Arcos on Yaxchilan. Can't beat 3x1 beers....and the food is yummy...and my friends bf plays with the band sometimes. GOOOD TIMES!!!!
