7am, though i've read that the oasis won't check in before 3pm, so it might kind of suck to wait around for them to check us in. you at the oasis too?
thanks! i'm going to keep reading, but we almost stayed at the grand oasis. the reason we didn't was because we found out that it would supposedly be difficult to bring girls back to the room if they weren't staying there. good call?
Well to come in to Oasis you need to have a wristband, now i do believe if you pay the person at front door a few bucks you should be good. Thats just what i have heard. When i stayed at the Oasis last year it was like that.
well we're staying at the oasis instead of the grand oasis. we figure if for some reason it's difficult to get girls into the hotel that aren't staying at the oasis, at least there will be plenty staying at the oasis. our concern is getting a shitty room and/or our stuff not being safe. i've read all kinds of bad things about the oasis, and that includes on here.
Well the Oasis, the room are all the same.... but the rooms dont look that bad at all!! And yes there will be tons and tons of girls staying there!
There's alot of risks that come with any place traveling to a foreign country, and yes there have been alot of complaints regarding the Oasis from members on the board in the past (especially me lol) just make sure to lock your belongings in your suitcase, don't leave anything out in the open and you should be alright. The rooms ARE indeed not the best in the world, but you learn to deal w/ it. Also, it's near impossible to sneak girls into Oasis, unless you can get a second wristband, seems unlikely, security is AIR TIGHT
thanks for the tips guys.. we're definitely not expecting luxury and aren't planning on being our rooms too much. as long as the AC works and nothing gets stolen, i think we'll be satisfied. of course, since security does seem to be that tough, we decided not to risk it and clearly prioritized hooking up over comfort and security. quick question about locking your suitcase though. do you mean this to keep things from being stolen by other people that might be hanging out in your room? i would think that if someone cared enough to break into your room, that they would just break a suitcase lock, right? or are there really good suitcase locks that i should invest in? (sorry for the newb questions)
well im just saying if i was a bad person i would just take the suitcase out of the room and open it up somewhere else..... but there is a safe in the room its $5.00 a day i do suggest getting that!!! And its cool ask away we are here to help....
well heres the deal my room got broken into, and all of our stuff was stolen, so now I lock it up in my suitcase whenever I go out...sure people can still break through the lock and what not, but i dont think they would waste their time.
