friday night booze criuise from ttr(warning)

    just thought we would tell you of our little experience on a booze criuse which was organised by a company near the beach and NOT STEVE.we was told it would be TTR people only also that it was a double decker boat that went out to the lagoon and in the jungle with open bar and entertainment and then to a bar down town,it wasnt any of these.it was a catermaran for a start so couldnt go into the lagoon,it went out to sea about 500 meters spun around for two hours gave us some drink there wasnt much enetertainment apart from the wife dancing topless on the boat which didnt seem to go down to well with the non TTR guests and then returned to the small jetty near the hotel,where there was a mini bus to take us to a bar downtown we didint carry on and went back to TTR.we think they didnt have enough people to fill the double decker we was told there would be 80 people on it there was no more than 30 hence the reason for the catatmaran.we did complain along with another couple and got full refund so we can only respect them for that.

    That's very unusual. Normally if they don't have enough they just cancel it outright rather than combine it.

    That is unusual, as I have taken that cruise on the double decker... (duck your head going under the bridge) and partied in the lagoon for awhile and then get dropped off by senor frogs and loaded up vans to Carlos N charlies... I had a blast...

    Did you book this with Sergio @ the towel hut or someone else? Doesn't sound like something Sergio's would do :icon_confused:

    I did that booze a couple times and we always had the double decker boat...but i did book through Sergio...:ernaehrung015:

    wow to bad your cruise was bad... We went last year in Feb. and had a blast.... We really took over the entertainment at Carlos and Charlies.....

    Sounds to me like the usual double decker boat wasn't available, maybe broken down or being used elsewhere. So, they used a catamaran instead which couldn't fit under the bridge by the lagoon due to its tall mast.

    Whether you book with Sergio or not doesn't matter, all the guys at TTR work for the same company and sell the same things. The only other people who are allowed to sell tours at the hotel are the large travel agencies such as Funjet, Apple, Sunwing etc and they can only sell to their own clients.

    I hear Steve's booze cruise are awesome but every year i go there is never one when im there. I'm hoping this year will work out
