On the 7th when i leave atlanta, the flight leave at 10:15am and then fly to mexico city, then have a 3 1/2 layover in mexico then arrive in cancun around 7:00pm long long day but will be drunk upon arrival in cancun and then plan to hit the clubs.. IF YOU ARE THERE THAT NIGHT MESSAGE ME AND WE WILL MEET UP!! THAT NIGHT THE 7TH DRINKS ARE ON ME!!!
Sometimes there are last minute specials, although for flights during the prime spring break time these are not nearly as common. Too bad the Delta direct from BDL to CUN is so full, which is what is driving up the price considerably. From a quality of trip perspective, that´s my favorite. I was just looking at our flight (which leaves a week later, 3-13 to 3-20). I had watched it for awhile, and had the travel agent book in mid-December, ultimately at just under $400. It´s now at $745! Just made final payment on our trip, so now also paid in full!!!
Fletch, do you already have a room, and just need flightß If not, there is a great deal for your dates leaving from Boston with direct charter flights. I priced it out based on two people, and it´s $2501, or $1,250/pp including air, hotel, and ground transfers. One of the better prices that I have seen for 8 dazs, 7 nights...normal price is quite a bit higher as this is some sort of package sale. Not sure if Boston works for you, but pretty impressive package... If there´s anyone else close to the Boston area, there are also incredible deals on other hotels - including the Marriott properties (not AI, but excellent hotels)...
Oh...the flights are 3-6 AirTran 7821 depart BOS 600am, arrive CUN 930am // 3-13 AirTran 7822 depart CUN 1025am, arrive BOS 335pm. Pretty decent times - and having directs is invaluable. I´ve dealt with AV quite a bit and they are awesome. One year we stayed at Oasis and they were significantly overbooked. There were a handful of people who booked with StudentCity and STS and were screwed and had to get another hotel, but none of the AV people had any issues...
