The pothole near the exit of cielo is getting really wide, and sometimes due to people parking beside side it unavoidable.... its a real pain since i don't drive a SUV!!

i wish they would stop covering the potholes so they can reappear two weeks later even bigger!! i wouldn't mind them closing the street for two days and repaving the whole thing!!

so you have lived in cielo for a while then... remember the sit in that went on when they were counting the votes for the elections G. Sanchez won, i was almost attacked by a mob everytime i left or came back home!! and the bastards were stealing my electricity and the police didn't want to intervene to avoid a riot...

such an interesting street we live in...

Epic: Haha, I hear you :)

I assume we would find dinosaurs in the potholes if we just spent some 10 mins excavating them, he he.

I agree: Close the street and get the job done CORRECTLY instead of these ridiculous "5 day fixes"...

Oh yes, i do remember the election process... We had to get the passes to be able to leave and enter our building...

And the park... The amount of crap the "campers" left behind daily, yuck.

Singing, chanting etc. 24/7 for how long...?

There were reports that they wanted to do a re-count since they accused the opposition of cheating. They said "It will be another week that we stay here"... Good thing it didn't happen - I might have gone loco and offed several of the people here, haha :)

Now Im curious about who you might be...

There is always something going on in our dear Cielo, haha :)

V: I havent got any positive news about the cats yet, but considering they are around 5-ish, something humane could be done for sure.

My understanding is that the Perrera (city pound) cannot afford humane euthanization methods. So if you call them you are wishing a cruel death on those cats. Starving and being hit by cars is also cruel though.

The best thing to do is either advertise and find homes for the cats. Or catch them and get them fixed (and get rabies shots for them) and release them again. Many, many vets in Cancun will sterilize street animals for next to nothing (or nothing). Just explain what you are up to and you will find that most of them will help you for very little. I can provide vets names if you need them.

It is absolutely irresponsible to feed street animals that you do not sterilize! I get very, very angry with people when I find them doing this. They are not helping anything, they are making unwanted animals strong enough to reproduce, that is all. It makes me sick. I encourage everyone who sees anyone doing this to get all up in the person's face about it. It is completely unethical.

Hmm well there are 3 apt buildings in cielo... since i doubt the ones right on the avenida needed those special pases to be allowed in!! i have narrowed down where you live... lol and since this is an animal related thread i assume you have maybe a dog... golden retriever maybe??

i wanted G. Sanchez to win just because i hated that Victor Viveros tune that they played day & night!!! that and every time i drove in i was accused of tampering with the votes till they realized i lived there... (tempted so many times to run them over)

the orange house on the corner that nobody lives in... that was the public restroom for cancun's finest!! before they realized they needed to close the whole street instead of a portion of it...
