I think part of the problem was doing the party hopper the same day as the concert. I have now had 2 years in a row of an extremely bad experience with trying to go to the concert at the City. I refuse to make the mistake for a third straight year, I'm not going to the concert. It's not worth the stress. I've never been to Coco Bongo and I would like to go at least once. Does anyone want to suck it up and check it out this year? I agree with Fletch about Senor Frogs, I think it is my favorite place to go as well. First off, it isn't packed out the ass, second, it seems to be a more normal crowd, but most importantly, it's easy to get to the bar and they let you get what you want. For instance, we were getting shots of tequila with the open bar and it was no problem at all. Whereas at the clubs, they act like A-Holes about giving out shots. They make you grease the wheels to get something you already paid for. Personally, I'm a shots guy, I prefer having 10 shots to having 10 vod tonics and feeling bloated and sick from the sugar. Give me a chaser and some shots and I'm good to go. Out of the 8 nights, I would like to spend at least 2 at Senor Frogs, maybe even 3. We had a GREAT setup at Basic last year for VIP. We had about 15 people, they gave us a sick section right near the third level, people thought we were important for having that section, we also had bottles, red bulls, waiters, the whole deal. Aside from Andrew getting his camera pilfered, great night. We had a pretty good setup at Bulldog as well and The City those nights, pretty big VIP table sections. You realize very quickly how crowded the places get when you venture away from your tables, I can't imagine not having tables/bottles to go back to at the clubs.
i really really wanted to see flo-rida last year... 2 years ago i had an amazing time at his concert, but he was little known back then... he only had one song playing... but last year... it was just crazy!!!! sara and me might be going to Coco Bongo, its her second time in cancun, her first time in cancun was back in November and for some unknown reason she went to the hotel instead of coming with me to Coco Bongo, which for some other unknown reason was totally free for us... my fav place is terrasta, as its not that popular its never crowded, its awesome and i really like the music they play there... i wanna check out this new club "Sweet", its where Dady Rock used to be, if im lucky i might get free entrances and discounts for most of us there... only if im really lucky lol
We are definitely going to do tables every night for clubs. We are doing Basic on Friday again for sure. Joe is coming (just talk to him, he is going to do Thu-Sun). Hopefully Chad too. Thursday night is CC party. We can always do Frogs afterwards since Carlos & Charle closes at 1AM and it doesn't make sense to pay full cover for club by then. Other nights, we'll just play by ear depending on where the girls we pick up during the day are going. Last year, it took us till second half of the week to get the system down (remember the first night it took 3 hours just to get from Oasis to Slice and we lost a couple people half way there). This year we are going to do it right from the beginning.

For Frogs, that'd easy. But for clubs, you'll need to be around Oasis in the afternoon or something otherwise it may not work. Basically we decide where we want to go late afternoon and then we book it with the Apple vacation rep Andrew knows. We'll tell her how many people we have and she'll tell us how much per person it is for cover, open bar, and transportation from Oasis is. The toughest part is to rounding up people to pay by the time the Apple Vacation people leave Oasis (6PM?). We waste a good hour per day rounding up all the drunken fools to get them to pay. And that's just with people staying at Oasis. I don't even want to think about how much time it'll take to round up people if we have to increase the search parameter. Like last year, I think I only saw Fletch 1-2 nights out of the whole trip because it was so hard to communicate with people in different hotels when everyone only checks their phone like once every few hours.
lol.... well it wouldnt be every day.... but we are staying from the 10th-23rd.... so i guess 2 or 3 of those days.... you could tell us exactly where to be.. maybe like in the lobby or right out front of the hotel.... and we could pay or whatever. As long as we have some type of plan.
Now when everyone says OASIS, do you mean Cancun Oasis? If so i am staying there... i dont want to miss nothing i would love to be traveling in a group of folks from Cancun Care!!! Please let me know!
