It's always free to get into Carlos N Charlies, but people who dont want to pay will be seated away from the main group. In past years we've had problems with people saying they dont want to drink and then trying to drink for free - since the drinks are handed out so liberally. I'm not saying this is your intention at all, just that this year I dont want to spend all night dealing with pissed off waiters and trying to explain to people that they can't drink for nothing, like I have had to before.
