Here are the bumper stickers from Jamie's original post above. I was able to down load the images to photobucket and then post them here. Enjoy.....
Thanks for finally sorting this out for me... :aktion033: Now people can get upset... :icon_cool: Jamie
Jamie, how can people be upset about the truth? My work takes me all over the country from coast to coast and I can tell you that I have never seen people so thoroughly disgusted with their "elected leaders" of both parties. Our politicians seem to be made up mostly of crooks and incompetents or at a minimum people who are totally out of touch with reality. I have to wonder what planet Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are from because they sure as heck don't sound like they occupy this planet. Where is Ross Perot when we really need him?
Oddly enough, I actually voted for Perot in 1992. Even though he was a rather eccentric man, he was also a smart businessman who thoroughly understood fiscal responsibility, the danger of uncontrollable spending, big government & too much national debt. At the time, Perot was the beneficiary of populist resentment toward establishment politicians both Democrat and Republican.Today, I can imagine another third party candidate with the same philosophy gaining huge support once again… .
We are beginning to see the "Tea Party" getting more press and votes. One of the local towns here threw out the former elected officials of both "mainstream" parties and replaced them with members of the Tea Party. As Obama got elected by being the non-Bush, these folks got elected by being the non-Republican/Democrat.
I really thought some Obama fans would be jumping in here to defend their leader and his policies. I'm kind of surprised, but maybe I shouldn't be. The only ones I come across who like him are government employees.
Coolness factor wearing off? Reality finally settling in? Buyer's remorse perhaps? Here's an Editorial that appeared in yesterday's Detroit News (a liberal News Paper): Editorial: Obama needs policies, not promises, for job growth | detnews.com | The Detroit News Now when Obama's Job approval ratings continue to drop and the left leaning media starts to criticize him.... You really have to be honest & admit there IS something wrong.
Two things of very worthy note to add here. One is a thing called Cloward-Piven. This was written in the '60's by two socialists as a way to bring down all of capitalism and the United States. In general it is a theory (rapidly being proved) that if the government continues to provide services it cannot afford then eventually that government will fall. The key is to get enough voters to push through those initiatives. Cloward and Piven were both involved in ACORN. Scared yet? Add to this the monstorous health bill in the Senate. The bill focuses on insurance for all and ignores the most important issue of health care, not insurance, but health care. Nowhere is it mentioned that no one in the US is denied health care, courtesy of government run hospitals, regardless of their carrying health insurance. There was an article in yesterday's "Buffalo News" about some of our hospitals targeting Canadians for services they can not get in Canada or the wait is so long the patient will not survive. This is the system the turkeys in Congress want to impose on us. Right now I really am not overly concerned with health care for illegal aliens. I have a really huge concern for clients with idle factories and boarded up store fronts.
