Yeah the Cancun group...we go down there every year and party with eachother, been having official CC parties for the past 5 or 6 years. Sierra, I'm not too sure when it's going to be just yet, I'll make the announcement soon

We are going to use Blackberry IM to stay in touch. You have it, I have it, Joe has it, Andrew has it. It uses internet so doesn't cost 50cents like txt message. We can stay in touch with Chad I guess since he only has an iphone.
I called Sprint last year and asked them about that, they told me it was not free, it was actually pretty expensive. I don't have an international plan, and it cost a fairly significant amount to add it to my plan for the month. Having said that, I likely won't have my phone with me down there.
for ATT its 5 bucks to add international roaming, then they still charge you like 69 cents a minute and similar charges for texting, it can add up pretty quickly.
Interesting...with AT&T, it's around $65/month for unlimited international internet, which includes BB Messenger. You could always add for the duration of the trip (although you may want to keep it activated for a week or so after as it sometimes will take a little while to report use). Not sure what the current rates are for those with Verizon, Sprint, etc. or if if it's even a similar cost for iPhone. For those of you that will be there covering any days from March 13-20 (when I'll be there), my PIN is 20FAAE47, so feel free to add me as a contact.
