My picture shows up if you look at my profile, it isn't working as my avatar for some reason. I blame fletch for this. Will be at Oasis Grand from march 6-14. As an aside, last year, we rolled down to the clubs in groups of 10-15 people. By doing this, we got private transportation, a sweet section of tables, bottle service, waiters, etc...Others can vouch, we had a reaaaal pimp setup. And, it was for no more $$ than what you would pay to get in the clubs anyway. My point being, if you talk to promoters with $450 worth of people, you have a lot of leverage to get sick deals, and we have some good connections for getting said deals down there. I suggest that we roll to places as a group, we will all be better off for it.
Steve - can you expand on this - perhaps a couple of the places where this was effective? Definitely a great idea - did you talk to the promoters at hotel first or outside the clubs prior to going in?
We usually hooked up with the promoters right at the Oasis. Most of us were staying there, so we left from there. We got free private transport down there so we didn't have to worry about the buses. The real problem is coordinating things down there because nobody has phones. Most of us were staying in the same place so we just figured it out. It is a lot more difficult if people are at different places. We got good deals basically everywhere except for Coco Bongo (although I'm not sure we ever tried).
Same here Its just me and my friend going, so we need to meet as many people as possible! Want to have a great time! Its not my first time to Cancun its actually my 3rd but first time for spring break I CANT WAIT! We will be there March 7-13 and staying at Oasis Cancun! Booked the trip this morning!! Anyone going to be there around that time hit me up and we can meet up down there i am up for anything!
you've picked the right time to go for sure, that's when most of us will be there anyway, if you're at the oasis chances are you'll run into the CC group
