Are bugs a problem ??

We have been to Desire Cancun several times and had to use bug spray nightly, are the bugs an issue at Temptation?

We went in the middle of April and then at the end of May. I dont think there was one time I used bug spray.

Ive been there many many times in march and april and I have never had to use bug spray, I think the breeze off the water keeps them in check, Ive seen some threads on here where some people use spray, but me personally, I have never had a problem

 

I have been to Cancun/Riviera Maya 11 times in January or February and never once did I use bug spray. It must depend on the time of year.

 

8 times never had to use bug spray...but watch out for the yellowjackets that buzz around the bar..they like the sweet syrups...Jose got stung three or four times one day...occupational hazard I guess

 

Six times and never a bug. I think they still use DDT in Mexico.

I have been going since 1999 (when it was Blue Bay) and I have never had a bug in my room! I hate the bees at the bar!!! But if thats the worst no worries here!!
