I sure that these have been asked, and answered before but I'm too lazy to look through all the posts. So this will give everyone huttled around the computer trying to stay warm something to do!! 1-Any need to bring a costume for any of the evening events? 2-What are the best bars in the hotel zone, and why? It has been 10 years since my last trip to Cancun. 3-What brand of gin and spiced rum do they serve? PLEASE tell me its not Mexican gin. They do a lot of things well in Mexico, gin is not one of them. 4-Like to get a couple of blow up floats for the pool. Easier to bring them or go to Wal mart? 5-If we can't get a booze cruise with Steve, what is the next best trip to Isla Marajara (sp)? 6-Bring insulated cups from home or get them there? 7-Is Lemonade available? (love it with the gin) Thanks Mike and Tami
Wow, lots of questions. I'll tackle #3. Coco Bongos is a must. Scan the topics for answers to each of these questions...they are all in here.
If you don't hook up with a booze cruise, another option is the ferry from Puerta Juarez. The girls in the lobby can give you details on how to make this happen. We have done many cruises with Steve & on our own thru Sergio @ the towel hut & had great times, but we really enjoyed the ferry over to the Island. Slower paced but we got to spend more time there than a booze cruise allows. Either way you will enjoy yourselves. Btw - I've never seen a float in the sexy pool. I know years ago they had some as Jamie's old time photo's reveal. Like Bart said, the pool isn't that big to be putting too many objects in there Coco Bongos is my choice. Go with the Staff from TTR for VIP seating & service. We buy mugs in the gift shop ( about 6-7 bucks apiece ). One less thing to pack. They are starting to crack down on the weight restrictions @ the airports. Just my 2 cents Scott
