Hey everybody, Me and 3 other friends decided recently to hit up Cancun for SB'10, and we're looking for some advice as far as where to stay. We've come to the conclusion that all-inclusive is the only way to go, so we have been checking out several places. Heres the deal: Four 20-year-old college guys looking to get the most bang for our buck and get the Spring Break Cancun experience to the fullest, we just want to have fun! So help me out here, where should we stay? It looks like Oasis is around 1100 a person right now, but we also found a smaller place called the Barcelo Costa thats only 850...but not on the ocean and not anywhere near Oasis. We also heard something about buying Oasis day passes if you don't stay there, but I feel like it'd be annoying to bring all your stuff with you and have to worry about it rather than just having your room right there. Please help! We want to book ASAP! Thanks alot, Brian
Brian, i hadnt seen your post... heres the thing: Oasis is the place to stay at, but not everyone stays there, like me, im staying at a rented apartment downtown and am planning on buying day passes to the oasis most of the days... actually the barcelo costa is on the beach right where the pirate ships sail and its a cool place to be at... if you think its worth paying less stay there and get day passes for oasis... at the end u are gonna end up paying the difference... unless you get something waaaaay cheaper than oasis. and about the annoying part of carrying all your stuff... how much stuff do you need for a day... you are guys, you need only a towel (i dont remember if you get one with the day pass) and maybe your camera and things like cigarretes and stuff... i dont think thats too much to carry... hope this helps
thanks so much for the answer mormis! we got a really good deal on the barcelo so we'll probably just stay there and get some day passes to oasis a few times. Do the day passes include drinks?
Well I am staying at the Oasis, I stay there everytime I go to Cancun. Its deff worth the money! But day passes is always an option!
