We only know the old BBG, 2005 and 2007. First time to TTR, hope we are not disappointed. But we WILL make the best of things no matter what!
Hi everyone! Been to Temptations 3 times in 2 years and going back in Feb. I take alot of pictures, LOTS:cool014: That said most of them are of my wife or people we are with. I have a hard and fast rule for my pictures and those of people unknown to me. If you have to be sneaky you are wrong. Simple enough for us. We had 3 episodes of note in Dec. Some of this was brought on by one of the guys in our crowd getting a bit over sensitive to his beautiful wifes' effect on pervert dudes. In all 3 cases someone in our group pointed out a guy with a camera being sneaky. Case one- DJ called our wives onto the stage at Bulldogs, no problem. Girls were done dancing up there and people were taking pics, no problem as the girls were pretty far away. Then the girls were kinda stopped by a bouncer on the lower stage and the cameras came out in a big way and from pretty close. I asked the bouncer which one of us was going to kick the kid in the teeth with the camera under my wife and let him know that I would have the girls off the stage in 2 seconds if I told them they were done. The bouncer took care of it. No problem but now people are a bit on edge. Case 2- maybe 8 or 10 or us are getting a bit crazy by the swim up bar in the sexy pool. Someone points out the guy leaning over the edge taking pictures. I asked him to stop with "C'mon dude" and a motion to "cut it off". His response was to shrugg and go "C'mon!" I suggested he take pictures of his own woman. He was about to take another picture and I got a bit more direct:aktion051: I told him that if he took the picture I would take his camera and if he thought I wouldn't or couldn't to go ahead and take it. He was grumpy about it and tried to talk to me later but I just dismissed him with "it's fine" and went about my business. Case 3- About 8 or 10 of us were skinny dipping in the whirlpools around 7pm. 2 of the girls went to the bathroom naked and walked by the other whirlpools. There were camera flashes and it seemed like they were coming from a whirlpool of single dudes. I decided to get diplomatic:rainfro: I walked up in front of them with my camera in hand and holding it at waist level I asked if they could all stand up and drop their shorts so I could take pictures of their dicks. They exclaimed "WHAT?" I asked them again if I could take pictures of their dicks. When they declined my request I said "hey, I get it. Lets not take any pictures of the naked girls then" It was pretty funny and no drama ensued. All in all I don't have a problem with pictures but again, if you have to be sneaky you know you are wrong. I am not the type of person who avoids confrontation but I am on vacation and I don't really want my wife uncomfortable. When she is comfortable and having fun I am having lots of fun. I would really dislike a camera ban but I think more people need to just let other people know its not ok to take pictures that don't belong to you. How's that for a first post NTbaby? See you in Feb!:clappyinghappy:
When in February are you going and what whirlpool do you hang out at????? LOL We agree with you but we have never taken any liberties taking pictures of someone who is not in our group course we never have a problem inviting people to join us! LOL Faye & Rick :lotsofmichaelfs:
A very good post which I would expect from you Mike.:icon_lol: However I was surprised as to the length of the post. Very short by your standards. I can't beleive you ran out of things to say  Looking forward to Feb. Good Times with Good Friends
Backs13....we couldn't agree more! We have been to many nudist resorts and beaches in the world and the camera etiquette is well known. No cameras! If someone does take pictures it is done only after requesting permission from the subjects. This is our first trip to TTR and find it a little concerning that there is such an open use of cameras in the pool areas where topless nudity is allowed. Many of us vacation at places like this with the expectation of enjoying ourselves in the company of other like-minded adults...but that it will remain a memory shared between those who were actually there. In other words "You should have been there" takes on a larger meaning.
Just have to say, I am glad we were there January 2007 when it was still BBG. We participated in games and have some pictures of friends poolside. Last January, I was so freaked out by the cameras that the only game I participated in was Music Trivia!
