Hi Guys and Gals, I'm know this question comes all the time, but we have a group of four guys who are a little older and want to party. We like going to the Oasis, but don't want to deal with the shitty rooms. What is the nicest five star hotel that still has a party. We were thinking about staying at the Westin villas, but weren't sure. If not, whats the best place to stay that still has a party? Lastly, are there any suites or higher end rooms we can get at the Oasis. Thanks ballers! Go big or home SB10
hmmmm from my experience and 12 Trips to the Oasis Cancun pretty much all rooms are created equal. Nothing too fancy, what alot of people do is stay at the Grand Oasis because the rooms are a little bit better and your still in the heart of the Party Zone. Why stay elsewhere when you will end up at the Oasis on a day pass anyways...
Thanks Legend! Can you sleep at night, or is just too crazy during the day and night? Do you know if there is way to get out of the all inclusive piece? Do you guys usually eat dinner there to?
Sleeping at night? If you want to get a few hours in - you usually can around 4 or 5... as for food at the Oasis -- most folks eat dinner there, then pregame and head out. the quality of said food varies
with due respect to others opinions let me just leave you with my personal opinion. I've stayed there ONCE. To me, the rooms were disgusting, non functioning, and just all around not pleasant. On day 2, we were robbed while we were out having fun, room on the 1st floor with ridiculously easy beach access was entered, because the lock did not work. The staff did NOTHING to accommodate us, besides switch our room to a higher up, equally disgusting room. May have been a bad experience for me, but maybe you'll have better luck, I dont know
Trust me, you won't wanna sleep your body goes into 24 hour Party Mode...atleast mine does anyways. But all seriousness you will probably get back to the hotel around 4-5am hang out with all the stragglers in the sports bar grabbing a bite to eat...while trying to find a guaranteed breaker to cuddle with or whatever else you wanna call it. That's of course if you didn't already bring one back from 1 of the many nightclubs. I personally take a powernap from about 6am-9am grab some eggwhites and green tea from the buffet...hit the gym and by 11-12p I'm already having my first drink and gettin my party on. Throughout the day I usually just nibble on buffett food..boneless chicken..beef tips..and pizza when I feel like I'm gonna be to bombed and not make it out for the night. As far as I kno its only all-inclusive and no way around it. Its deffinately worth it..lol suite @ the Oasis would be da #*%: I would deff have 1 for sho..since its the only place I will ever stay
Thanks Guys! Lots to think about! Last question....Is the Grand Oasis part of the Oasis? Some where I was reading that the rooms are a little better. If we go that route, I want to make sure its not a hike and we still have access to everything...Is it close by? Fletch/Legend-It sounds like you guys can really party! I'm have to start preparing!! Grand Oasis and Oasis Cancun Phase I and II are right next to each other all within walking distance its like 1 huge compound outside everyone is free to mingle around but Oasis Cancun Breakers cannot get in the Grand Oasis Hotel because they don't have the infamous black wrist band. Grand Oasis Guest however can go anywhere they want with supposed better food, rooms, liqour etc....do your homework plenty of posts out there about the facilities. The search button is your friend.... Choose your choice wisely, whatever decision you make needs to be for your best interest. Good Luck and see you Pool Side @ The Oasis

Denada!!! Anytime just what I like to hear, comments like yours and others make it difficult for me to hang it up, after next years trips 13 and 14. But I will be back home to the Oasis around the 2nd week of March 2010 somewhere in the middle of that week for at least 2 weeks. Hope to see you there...
